How to Draw Chibiterasu
A long while ago I did a lesson on a canine character from a video game that was pretty popular at the time. Okami was the video game that the character came from, and the main protagonist I drew from it was Amaterasu. Today, I will be showing you "how to draw Chibiterasu", step by step. This wolf puppy is in the newly released video game “Okamiden: Chisaki Taiyo or just Okamiden. The game was released on March 15th of this year which was exactly ten days ago. The game takes place nine months after everything that happened in Okami. The whole purpose of Chibiterasu is to go out on a quest in hopes to save the people of Nippon. Chibiterasu looks exactly like Amaterasu, but in a puppy or chibi form. The small puppy was the result after Sakuya and Issun summoned for Amaterasu. Instead of getting the Sun God, they where given the celestial pup Chibiterasu. It is speculated that the reason why Chibiterasu looks so much like Amaterasu, is because she is Chibiterasu's mother. Anyways, I have never played the game yet, and I don't know if I ever will. I do know that it's going to be extremely fun learning "how to draw Chibiterasu" because it is an incredibly cute wolf that is becoming a popular plush toy. STEP 1.
Lets begin shall we? First draw two shapes, one for the head, and one for the body like you see here. Next, draw in the one facial guideline that you see across the face.
STEP 2.
Now it's time to sketch out the shape of Chibiterasu's head and face structure. This can be done by making the bottom half of the face arrow shaped. The ears should be erect, and when you're done move to step three.
STEP 3.
Draw in the detailing lines inside of the ears, and then draw out the small almond shaped for Chibiterasu's eyes. Next, draw the tribal like tattoo pattern under each eye like you see here, and then move to step four.
STEP 4.
Okay, the only thing you do here is draw a sun symbol on the forehead like so, and make two dash like lines on the top and bottom of the circle. Next, draw in the small nose, and then the mouth.
STEP 5.
It's now time to start the drawing process for the front legs and paws like you see here, and then draw out the chest too.
STEP 6.
Continue to draw out the rest of the body which is the back, back end, and hind leg. When that is all done you can start drawing the celestial brush tip above the shoulder.
STEP 7.
To finish this drawing, sketch out the puffy tail, and then draw in the two curled parts to the celestial brush, and then draw out and color in the tribal marking on the side of the body. You can also draw in the paw lines on the toes, and then move to step eight after you erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
Here is what your drawing looks like when you are all done. The next thing you need to do is color the game character in, and move onto your next tutorial. I do hope you have fun learning how to draw Chibiterasu, it was a real exciting lesson to tackle.Comments: Post Comment
