How to Draw Kirara
There is one anime show that I haven't followed in such a long time and when I received a request to do a particular character from this manga, I sat back for a minute and reminisced. Anyways today I will be doing another tutorial on "how to draw Kirara", step by step. The original Kirara I drew was done in 2008, and back than my artistic abilities weren’t as good as they are nowadays. Today, I am able to draw a whole lot better, and also lay out tutorials in an easier format so the drawer can tackle the lesson with a better understanding. Now if you are an Inuyasha fan you already know that she is the demon cat pet of Sango. She is also as small as a kitten when she is in her regular state. Kirara has two tails, and is yellow in color. She has black covered ears, black strips on her tails, black paws, stripes on the lower half of her legs, and a black star symbol between her eyes on her forehead. She also has these intense big reddish orange colored eyes with slit eyeballs. Even though she is a small kitty, Kirara has the ability to become quite large. When she is in this state, she is big enough to carry passengers on her back, usually seven or so. Kirara is one of the more popular figures from Inuyasha and she will always be a well recognized figure. One of the things that makes her so unique, is how loyal she is to her owner Sango. Anyways, I think you will enjoy this newer, cleaner version of "how to draw Kirara". I will be back because there is still two more tutorials coming your way. STEP 1.
Begin by drawing out a circle for her head, and then draw out the shape of her body like so. Pretty easy step right? Before you leave, just quickly draw in the facial guidelines.
STEP 2.
Now it's time to sketch out the shape of her head which is basically a simple line with puff on the cheeks. When that is done draw in her ears, and then draw the inside lining of her left ear.
STEP 3.
Now you can draw out her big round eyes using the facial guidelines you drew in step one. Make thick, wispy lines on the bottom of the eyes lines,and draw in slit eyeballs. Draw a nose and color in a tip.
STEP 4.
All you have to do here is draw in a diamond or star like shape in between her eyes on her forehead. Once the symbol is drawn in, you can go ahead and color it a solid black.
STEP 5.
Sketch out her upper body and notice how she has a nice fluffy coat. The overall shape of the the top portion of Kirara's body should look like a spade.
STEP 6.
Now all you have to do is draw out the lower part of the body which is the front legs, and back thighs. As you can see she is sitting on her bum.
STEP 7.
All you have to do here is finish drawing out the back legs and back paws. When that is done, draw and color in the solid black pattern on her front paws. Don't forget the stripe.
STEP 8.
Now finally, you can draw out her two tails which should be thick, and fluffy. Draw in the tiger like stripes at the tips of her tails and then erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 9.
Here is what your Inuyasha character looks like when you are all done. Color her in and that's it. I hope you enjoyed learning how to draw Kirara, step by step.Comments: Post Comment
