STEP 1.

Draw the base. Remember that you erase this later.

STEP 2.

Start with some face guidelines for the eyes, nose and mouth. This ogress has really thick lips.

STEP 3.

Now add a bit more detail. Teeth poke out of the mouth. Don't forget that there are eyelids.

STEP 4.

Draw some basic guidelines for hair.

STEP 5.

Give the hair more detail.

STEP 6.

Give your ogress some unique features. Mine has googles and horns. I also added a really long, pointed ear.

STEP 7.

Finally add some detail to the tree, or whatever. It could be a light post. Experiment.
