How to Draw a Valentine Skull

1

Start by drawing out the shape of the circle, and then draw in the facial guidelines like you see here.

2

Using the shape you drew in step one, you will start drawing out the actual shape of the skull design which starts off as a heart, and then tappers off at the bottom for the upper jaw.

3

Here you will use the facial guidelines to draw out the two eyes and nose. The eye sockets are uneven and they should stay this way. When that is done, you can draw a triangular shaped nose, and move to step four.

4

All you have to do here is draw in the crack on the skulls head, and then draw in three tooth lines for the upper jaw.

5

Here you will draw out the feather tops to the arrows which is one on each side. Make sure the feathers look rustic because this give the skull a genuine appeal.

6

Now you will draw out the arrow tips, and then some of the stick which the arrow tips are molded on.

7

Now for your last step all you have to do is draw out the heart that the skull is bitting down on, and then add some crack lines too. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

8

Here is what your new skull looks like when you are all done. Now you can color it in and be on your way. Maybe you can even draw in a banner instead of a heart to write an inscription on.

Description: Howdy peeps, how is everyone doing today? Since tomorrow is Valentine’s Day, I thought I would draw and submit a lesson that is cool enough to draw on an everyday basis, and cute enough to draw and give to a loved one on the lovers holiday. Today, I will show you "how to draw a Valentine skull", step by step. This is a super simple tutorial that can be replicated by anyone here on the site. The skull is drawn in the shape of a heart, and there is two rustic or medieval looking arrows piercing through the skull. The eyes are uneven, the mouth is simple, and the crack is subtle. I wanted to also draw the Valentine skull to have something in the mouth so there would be something there to write an inscription like “I love you”, or “Be Mine”. I had so much fun making this new skull, and I have a feeling that you guys will love it as well. Of course you can add your own little personal touches if you want, or you can draw the lovely skull the way you see it here. I guess that just about does it for now, I will be back momentarily to provide more drawing fun. Peace out, and keep those pencils moving!
