“Who, who” said the cute little owl that was sitting in a tree waiting to be heard. “That is the voice of reason” said my mother, but I knew that it was just a plain old owl making night calls. Anyways, this tutorial is going to be based on "how to draw an owl for kids", step by step. That little paragraph was something I made up so don’t ask me what book it's from. I just randomly thought of a cool beginning to a story, to start off this tutorial description. As with other animals on this site, there must be a good five or six lessons based on the owl. These birds are one of my favorite animal species and they have been since I was just a girl. I had a lot of fun making this tutorial, and if you are a beginning creative person that likes to draw, you will fall in love with this submission that is going to show you a really easy way to draw an owl. Just think, now you can make your own owl if you were looking to make the characters from the movie Legend of the Guardians. Well I guess that just about does it. It should only take you about ten to twenty minutes to draw this version of an owl because it only took me five minutes to draw and another twenty minute to color. Have fun with it, and be sure to make a request if you have a favorite animal or object you would like to see as a kids tutorial.
