How to Draw a Butterfly For Kids
Finally, the last lesson for the day, and to be honest with you I’m happy my drawing day is over. This tutorial is going to teach you ""how to draw a butterfly for kids", step by step. As you know butterflies are beautiful insects that flutter around the summer skies and linger around tasty nectar filled flowers. I wanted to make sure that I made a lesson that will show everyone the easiest way you can draw a butterfly. Even though there are more than three steps, the lesson is easy all the same. I think you will find that this tutorial is going to be fun, and come out looking very pretty too. You can color it in using a color scheme of your choice, because when it comes to butterflies, you can be as creative as you want to be. STEP 1.
Begin by drawing a small circle for the head, and then draw a line straight down the middle.
STEP 2.
Thicken the lining for the head, and then color in some tiny dots for the eyes. Next, draw out the shape for the narrow, long shape of the butterfly's body like so.
STEP 3.
Now you can draw out the wings with the top wings being larger than the lower parts of the wing.
STEP 4.
Now you can finish off your pretty butterfly but first you have to erase the lines and one shape if it's still visible. Draw in the pretty circles to add a unique design pattern, and then give the butterfly some antenna.
STEP 5.
