How to Draw a Chibi Wolf

For this last tutorial of the day I will show you how to draw a Chibi wolf. Yes another Chibi. Hey but it’s another animal one again. As you may or may not know by now, wolves are one of my favorite animals. They have always had this magical quality to them for some reason. Wolves are very beautiful animals but are very vicious at the same time. There are three types of wolves that I know of. There is the red wolf which happens to be the smallest breed of all wolves. The red wolf only reaches weights of up to 70 pounds and they get 32 inches in height. Next you have the grey wolf. Grey wolves are probably the most common and they are the largest of all wolf breeds. These beautiful creatures can get to be 175 pounds and are found in places like Canada and Alaska. The next species of wolf that I know of is the almighty white wolf or the arctic wolf. These are the wolves that have pure white fur. Their fur is white to blend in with the snow so they can camouflage themselves when hunting for prey. I find that the white wolf is the prettiest of all the wolf breeds out there. In this tutorial I will teach you how to draw a Chibi wolf step by step. Of course I put my own personal touches on this Chibi animal like the markings and such. I also made this wolf a cross between a white and grey wolf. The steps are easy to follow and when you are done you can color or alter the look of your Chibi wolf any way you want. All of my tutorials teach you how to draw, but while you are learning, sometimes add one of your own personal touches to be creative. You never know how art will come out unless you open your mind and draw. I will be back with more fun tutorials tomorrow and I hope you all have an awesome day. Bye people and peace out!

STEP 1.

This first step is simple. All you have to do is draw out a circle for the shape of the Chibi wolfs head and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw out the shape of his body and then make draw out the other circle shapes for the front and hind legs, paws and tail. Next draw the guidelines for the front leg and the ear.

STEP 2.

Now here you will start to shape out the body and when doing so make sure you use a jagged stroke to get that fur effect. Now shape out his jaw and then add a muzzle and a nose. Next make the lining for the eyes. After you are done with the top of the chibi wolf, start drawing the shape for his front legs and paws.

STEP 3.

What you will do here first is give the Chibi wolf a set of ears. Then draw in the pupils and eyebrows, and then detail the nose.Next fluff up and shape the tail as well as his hind legs. Give this cute wolf back paws and claws. After you are done you can start to erase some of the guidelines that you no longer need.

STEP 4.

Now draw out the shape of the eye and detail the inside of the ears to give them some good definition. Fluff up the chest and then erase the rest of the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one. Clean up your drawing the best way you can then move onto the next step.

That is it you are done. Now you are ready to color in your Chibi wolf and like i said earlier, add a few extra touches. That does it for this tutorial on how to draw a Chibi wolf step by step. I hope you had fun today and I will see you all tomorrow.

great tut! I actually edited the one leg, it looks like it's standing up! too bad I couldn't get a picture of it, I drew it on a family member's whiteboard and they erased it... Oh well, right? I don't think the head is really all that out of proportion, tho.
