How to Draw Chibi Vincent Valentine
Hello gang. I’m back with another drawing tutorial for you all to learn from. In the last tutorial I explained to you all that I was really into drawing Chibi’s. Guess what? I still am. Now since I already submitted tutorials on how to draw Cloud and Sephiroth, why not add another cool character from the Final Fantasy VII gang. This time I will be showing you how to draw Chibi Vincent. When I started drawing out the rough sketch of Vincent, I was kind of confused on what kind of background and position I would put him in. Because of that, he took me the longest to draw out of all the tutorials I did today. As you can see from the drawing, he came out really sweet. Vincent is a very mysterious and dark character and I wanted to try an convey that through my art. I chose to have him standing behind a dark sky with lighting all around and a pale red moon that is almost in your face. His full name is Vincent Valentine and he is a character that has many abilities. He has shape shifting, high stamina, high healing and immortality abilities. All of which I wouldn’t mind having! Anyways, Vincent is very tall and very slender. He has long black uncontrollable hair and he wears a long red cloak and mantle over his black clothes with a thick red headband. His left hand is equipped with a golden gauntlet which has very sharp claws. The Vincent from Advent Children was wicked. I loved his appearance in that movie. One of my favorite pieces of clothing from Vincent in the movie, was in fact his torn ragged looking cloak. If you ask me, he almost looks gothic and he is very strange indeed. Vincent aids Cloud a few times in Advent Children, once when going to fight Kadaj and rescue Marlene (the young girl that lived with Cloud and Tifa along with an orphan boy named Denzel. He also helped Cloud when he was fighting Red XIII (which is that lion looking monster that came from the underground streets of the city. He gave Cloud a boost so he could catch up to Red XIII during the battle they had in the sky. Vincent is a cool character and he was one of my favorites in the game. It is my duty to show you all how to draw Chibi Vincent from Final Fantasy VII step by step. I know you will find the instructions easy to follow and understand. I will be back with another tutorial in a while so don’t move from your seats kiddies or you will miss all the action. Peace out.

STEP 1.
In this first step as you can see you will be drawing out the frame of Chibi Vincent. Start with the shape of his head which is a circle, and then add the facial guidelines. Next draw out the shape of his torso and then his legs. Two small circles are needed for his hands. After you are done with that the last two shapes to draw is the outline of his long hair and the outlining of his cloak.
STEP 2.
Okay lets tackle the first hard thing about this step. You will first need to detail the outlined shape of the cloak. This can be done by drawing sharp looking pointed edges all around. Next detail the exterior of the cloak with definition lines. You will now start sketching in the lines for his eyes and mask that covers his face. After that start adding his fingers on both hands.
STEP 3.
Okay. Now you will start adding the detailing lines for his hair and then make the circles for his eyes. Draw four buttons on his cloak and detail the golden gauntlet on his hand. Give him a belt and then draw out the lines for his boots. After you have done all the easy stuff you will now detail the top of his cloak with more definition lines.
STEP 4.
This is the last step. You will first erase all the visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your drawing. Now you will shade or color in his pupils and detail his hair a bit more as shown. Next add some more detailing definition lines on his buttons, belt, pants and cloak and then draw out the shape of his left leg.
STEP 5.
This is what your finished drawing should look like when you are done. All you need to do now is color him in his famous black and red colors. I hope you had a fun time learning how to draw Chibi Vincent from Final Fantasy VII. I will be back with more later.Comments: Post Comment
