I know I haven’t drawn too many, well no characters or heroes from The Fantastic Four. I don’t know why I never did, I guess I never thought about it until now. The only reason why I am submitting this lesson on a Fantastic Four character, is because it was requested, and has been a requested hero for a long while now. Today I will finally submit my first tutorial on a character from The Fantastic Four. You will learn "how to draw the Human Torch", step by step. His real name is Jonny Storm and he was created by both Stan Lee, and artist Jack Kirby. Johnny Storm was raised by his sister Susan Storm who in later tales becomes Invisible Woman. They had to raise each other in a sense because they were really close in age and both of them had to lean on one another. The reason why two young children had to be put through this trauma is because when Storm was just a young boy he lost his mother in a car accident that left the family devastated. With no way or hopes to return to a normal family, Johnny’s father Franklin Storm became a bad alcoholic. His dad eventually killed a loan shark and was put in prison leaving the two kids without a father as well. Now the way Johnny became Human Torch is pretty interesting. You see, when Johnny was just sixteen years old he went on a space flight with his sister Sue’s fiancé, Reed Richards. While up in space he was drenched with radiation, but when the space craft crash landed on earth he turned into a flaming being. Since then he has called himself Human Torch. After some time he joined the Fantastic Four which included his sister Sue, brother –in-law Reed, and Ben Grimm or otherwise known as Thing. Together they were the superheroes and they did everything to keep evil and crime at bay. This drawing was fun creating because since Human Torch is all flames and because I love art that have flames, making a lesson to teach others "how to draw Human Torch" was fun. Well guys I’m sorry to say but that just about does it for me, and for this tutorial description. I will be back tomorrow with more drawing fun so come back to see what a new day will bring. I bid thee all farewell.
