How to Draw Chibi Elfen Lied
Here is a real treat for those of you that are fans of the anime/manga Elfen Lied. Today I thought I would a lesson that will teach you an awesome way to learn "how to draw chibi Elfen Lied", step by step. The main character that has taken chibi form is Lucy, and from the looks of her she is looking mighty cute and mighty awesome. It took me a total of two hours from start to finish when I began the sketch. My brother is the one that suggested that I draw or color in some blood dripping from her eyes because that is one of the characteristics about Lucy that she is known for. Elfen Lied has taken off in a big way and I can remember when I submitted my first tutorial on the main character Lucy last year. This tutorial is not going to be as easy as drawing a basic chibi figure. Instead you will have to approach this tutorial with more confidence, attitude, and patience. Chibi Lucy is what you call a well-defined creation that deserves the best possible art. As with the regular lesson I did on her, this chibi sized version of Lucy will be with those famous bandages wrapped around her body. I think you will enjoy teaching yourself "how to draw chibi Elfen Lied" because it is a real eye catcher. I shall return folks so stay tuned in to see what pops up next.

STEP 1.
Begin drawing a circle for her head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw a smaller circle for her torso and from there draw in the lining for all of her limbs and body.
STEP 2.
As you can see instead of drawing out her face first, you will start drawing out the shape of her face, and then draw in her long straight hair. As you can see the bottom is jagged which conveys a straight hairstyle.
STEP 3.
Draw in her cat like ears, because after all she is considered to be a neko style manga character. When that is done draw out the thick, bold lining for her eyes and make sure the lining for the eyes lightens up dramatically for the bottom lids. Next draw a mouth, and then draw out the entire outline of her small chibi body. You will end this step by drawing a feather curl of hair that is flowing inward toward her face.
STEP 4.
Sketch out her bangs which also cover the sides of her face, and then draw in the actual eye shapes. Add some blushing marks on her cheeks just under her eyes as shown here, and then draw the detailing lines inside of her ears. Lastly for this step, you will draw more hair, and then give her some fingers, toes, and some body definition.
STEP 5.
Now it's time to draw out the bandages around her body like so, and be sure you draw then where you see them placed here in the tutorial. Once you have conquered that feat, you can begin erasing the shapes and lines you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
When you are all done you should end up with a character that looks just like Lucy and like the chibi you see here. I hope you had fun learning how to draw chibi Elfen Lied. Color her in to give Lucy that special pop.Comments: Post Comment
