How to Draw Death the Kid, Soul Eater
I'm going to keep them coming for you all so here is another one. Now... I don't really watch much anime...I mean, I don't sit around watching it all day but there is just one show that I love to watch every night with my husband (hurray for netflix) and that would be Soul Eater. It's an epically awesome show with a great story, kick butt characters and awesome music and fighting scenes. So...I decided to draw one of the characters for you so here is a tutorial on 'how to draw Death the Kid'. I hope you all like it and I want to see how yours comes out so don't forget to upload it!

STEP 1.
First things first. We'll start out with a frame for our character. Kid is very skinny and has long straight legs. We'll draw out the basic shape for his shoes and his hands as well as put a cross section on the head so we can map out the face.
STEP 2.
Then we'll move onto his hair. We'll make sure to add those three annoying stripes that he is constantly complaining about because he wants everything to be symmetrical. We'll do the shape of the face as well.
STEP 3.
Next we'll move onto his collar and his coat. We'll add in the other details later on. His coat has very crisp lines and doesn't curve much at all.
STEP 4.
We'll move onto his pants and hands next, giving him fingers and drawing the cuffs for the shirt under his jacket. Like his jacket, his pants also have very straight and crisp lines.
STEP 5.
Now for the shoes and the other details. His shoes are very square, once again, using straight crisp lines. He has rectangular straps on his jacket and rectangular stripes at his shoulders. He had a skull that he wears like a tie and he also has a skull shaped ring on each hand (though we'll only be able to see one in this picture.
STEP 6.
Lastly we'll draw his face. His eyes look somewhat half shut and he always seemed to have a displeased look on his face.
STEP 7.
Now get rid of the framework and there you have it. Now you have your very own picture of Kid! I can't wait to see how they all came out!Comments: Post Comment
