How to Draw Graystripe
Here it is guys the cat that you have all been waiting for from the Warrior Cats book series. I have been asked so many times if I could make a tutorial that will teach you "how to draw Graystripe", step by step. For those of you that are fans of the book series, you should already know who this feline is. He is a tom cat who belongs to the Thunderclan, and is best friends with Firestar. Before he meets his future best friend, Firestar was known as Rusty. Rusty lived in a house and was kept as a pet kitty. Once the house cat turns into the infamous Firestar, Graystripe becomes his very best friend. To prove that the two are almost inseparable, they both like training and eating together because this gives them time to talk, think and stay abreast of things. Unfortunately, Graystripe eventually falls in love with Silverstream, and the reason why I say this is a bad thing, is because she belongs to the Riverclan. Graystripe got his name due to the fact that he has a gray stripe that runs down his back. The stripe is noticeable because it is darker than the rest of his coat. Anyways I think you will have fun learning "how to draw Graystripe". I tried to keep the steps as simple as possible so that every fan of the book series can tackle this lesson. I might be back later, but then again I might not. Did I forget to mention that Christmas is only four days away? Wow, I’m feeling antsy. STEP 1.
Okay guys, start by drawing a circle for the head, and then draw a neck line. You will then draw two other circles, one for the chest, and back end. These two shapes should be connected. When that is done you can draw the facial guidelines and then the leg lines.
STEP 2.
Here you will use those guidelines and shapes to draw out the actual cat's outline of the body. This should include the neck, back, belly, legs, and paws. When you are done here move to step three.
STEP 3.
Now you can sketch out the head which is pretty full looking. When the head is all drawn in you can draw out the ears, and then make sure that the face has fury cheeks. Draw the other inner leg, and then sketch out the thick long tail. Add some detailing or definition to the paws by adding the toes.
STEP 4.
Now you are ready to finish off this Warrior Cats character. To do so all you need to do is draw in the eyes, color in the pupils, and then draw the eyebrows, nose, and mouth. Add the detailing inside of the ear, and then add more minor definition to the body. Erase the lines and shapes you drew in step one.
STEP 5.
In the end you should have a drawing that looks as good as you see it here. Now you can grab your gray colored crayons and shade in this cat to purr-fection. I hope you had fun guys!Comments: Post Comment
