When drawing wings on the back of a human figure, you will need to make sure that the lining is somewhat flush with the back skin like you see here. The wings should look smallest at the very beginning as I pointed out to you here in this diagram.

This is a full extended view of the different positions of wings when drawn on the backs of angels, fantasy characters, or even fairies. When the wings are expanded they should look strong, steady, and full of thrust. When the wings are in a resting

Are you ready to get started or what? Good, let's begin then. Before we start I must tell you that the wings will be drawn on the back of an angel. This means you will begin by drawing a circle for the head, and then add the guidelines for the neck,

Using the framing you drew in step five, you will begin sketching out the shape of the male head, and then continue down the way to sketch out the neck, shoulders, arms, and torso or back like so. The farthest you will have to draw is down to the wai

Description: There is plenty of ways to draw bird wings whenever you are interested in drawing birds. But what abut when drawing wings becomes a struggle because you want to make the same style, except the wings are attached to a human figures back? I have the solution, a tutorial on ""drawing wings", step by step. The difference with this lesson is going to be simple. Instead of drawing wings for a flying animal, I will teach you how to make the same exact style wings for a human figure like an angel, fairy, or what have you. Another one of my favorite Marvel Comics characters is Angel. He is the son of the doctor that was trying to develop a cure for the mutant gene. He was trying to do this because his son was a mutant, and he didn't feel that his blood should be exposed to such a horrible defect. When I saw X-Men 3, I literally almost teared up when Angel broke from the straps on the stray table and extended his wings. He looked so glorious, and godly that it made me want to reach out toward him. Ever since then he has become one of my favorite figures, and because of that I wanted to make a tutorial that can show you how to draw that style of wing. Drawing bird or angel wings really isn't that hard once you know what you are about to get into. The fact that there is so many different style wings that one can create, makes learning how to draw them difficult. If you follow this lesson I am almost sure that your problem with drawing angelic wings will be lifted. All you have to do to conquer such a feat is look, read and analyze what you see before you. I also include some helpful tips and tricks that will help you understand "how to draw bird wings" in an easier fashion. I hope you find this lesson useful because I really do want you guys to learn something new when it comes to creating such beauty. Peace out folks and happy drawing!
