How to Draw a Chibi Puppy
How many chibi animals can you think of? Here is a strange concept, I have been drawing all sorts of chibi characters and animals right? Well get this, I have never made a tutorial on "how to draw a chibi puppy", step by step. I know I did a chibi cat, and that was horrible, but I never drew a chibi puppy. This tutorial came out wicked cool and incredibly adorable. I wanted to do something different with the puppy and to do so I've drawn in a piece of cloth that is clearly hanging out from it's mischievous mouth. He sort of reminds me of my six month old puppy who is always getting into trouble. We are constantly finding torn toilet paper, newspaper, regular paper, and even homework torn all over the floor. She even bit my new bed and put dent holes in the wood of the leg. By looking at this chibi puppy you would think that is is going to be hard to draw right? Wrong. I made sure that this puppy was going to be easy to draw, and that is why I know you will have fun learning "how to draw a chibi puppy". I hope you have fun, and I also hope you have enjoyed your drawing day!

STEP 1.
Draw or make an over sized circle for the chibi puppy's head, and then draw out the shape of a body. When the two shapes are drawn, it should look like a mushroom. Add the guidelines for the face.
STEP 2.
Now draw out the actual shape of the head and with the same lining make the snout and body. The head shape should have some contours.
STEP 3.
It's time to sketch out or draw the large "puppy" dog eyes. Color in some pupils and leave behind the glare spots. Finish drawing out the body by making the front legs, back legs, and both front and back paws. Draw the curled tail too.
STEP 4.
Now it's time to draw out the rest of the puppy's body parts and facial definitions. Draw out the ears and then make some fuzz on the head. Draw a spot around the right eye, and then draw in the nose and mouth. You will also need to make the body marking lines. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up the drawings.
STEP 5.
Here is what the drawing looks like when you are all done. Now you can go ahead and color him/her in. I made my pup a boy, but you can make it a girl if you like and you can even choose your own pattern for the body.Comments: Post Comment
