How to Draw a Beautiful Swanhow to draw a beautiful swan
how to draw a beautiful swan step 1

Step 1.

Start this first step with basic guidelines and shapes to form the body and guidelines for the swan. Start with a small circle for the head and then the shape of it's beak. Next draw an egg shape for the body and then another rounded shape for the swan's wing. Now the tail or rear end is next and then you can draw out the guidelines for the neck and leg.

Step 2.

In this next step you will start shaping the body parts and begin sketching in the details of the swan feathers and such. First sketch out the shape of the neck and draw in the face and the structure of the face including the beak. Now start detailing the wing by sketching in the hint of feathers by making small continuous "w's" Repeat this sketching for the rear end of the swan and then draw out the shape of the leg and part of the foot.

Step 3.

What you will be doing here is basically sketching out the shape of the swans feet and detailing the web look that is associated with any duck, goose, or swan. Ruffle up some of the feathers in the back and you can actually erase the guidelines and circle shapes that you drew in step one.

Step 4.

This last step of drawing is all about drawing out the feathers on the swans wing. This can be done with just a series of shapely lines the flow in a row that will eventually form the look of feathers. After you are done you can clean up your sketch some more and move down to the last step.

Step 5.

This is what your final sketch should come out looking like when you are done. That is it you did it! Swans come in three different colors, black, white with orange necks or just plain white with a black beak. It is your choice to color your drawing in any way you choose too. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial on how to draw a beautiful swan step by step. I will see you again.

Hello again everybody and welcome back to another tutorial here on DragoArt.com. I would first like to say that my weekend was so incredibly boring. I had so many plans but didn’t do anything that I had planned. I guess sometimes things don’t work out the way you want them to all the time. I was supposed to go see Dark Knight with my bro over the weekend but that didn’t happen because he got sick. Then my family had plans to have a cookout since my brother was sick which made him feel all gross and ill. Well that plan was exciting because I went to the store and the whole nine with my parents to buy what we needed for the cookout. We get home and start preparing the backyard when all of a sudden from out of nowhere it just starts thundering and lightning and down pouring like you wouldn’t believe. Naturally that plan was blown and we winded up cooking food indoors which was totally bogus. After that event we sat around the table and decided to go to the beach to make up for our spoiled plans to spend the day outdoors. We were all excited to go so we got the coolers ready and all. We wake up and it is still raining and the rain stuck around until early this morning. So yeah I guess you can say that my weekend was trashed big time. Now because I was stuck in the house I needed to draw something uplifting and pretty. Yesterday was a day that I felt pretty, so because of that I decided to draw a bird that I think is probably one of the most beautiful. Today I will be showing you all how to draw a beautiful swan step by step. A swan reminds me of love and happiness. These beautiful birds are related to ducks and geese (as you can tell). Swans have long slender necks that seem to curve ever so gracefully and their bodies are plump and well portioned. Swans have always been eye candy for me. I used to sit at park benches were these white birds could be found and just sketch for hours while they swam in the pond not too far from my sight. I loved doing this tutorial because it reminds me of when I was a little girl and how being small is so magical. I colored the swan using colors to give it a dreamy feel. So without further ado it is time for you all to learn how to draw a beautiful swan too. Peace out people, see you in a bit.
