I was watching The Last Airbender yesterday after everyone got full off a bunch of Thanksgiving Day turkey, and I came up with an idea for a tutorial that was inspired by the four different nations from the movie and or series. I thought it would be fun to learn "how to draw elements", step by step. I know there is no real way to draw such objects, but based on Avatar, I thought of a way to make such a tutorial possible. I went ahead and drew a leaf for the element of earth, clouds for the element of air, fire for the element of fire, and water for the element of water. I split the four elements up in a big square box, and separated them by making smaller squares. I had fun with this drawing because the whole time I was thinking of four figures, Aang for air, Katara for water, Zuko for fire, and Toph for earth. To be honest with you Toph happens to be one of my favorite characters in the cartoon series that airs on Nickelodeon. I can say that I am hopelessly hooked to the cartoon, and for some reason I have no idea why. One of my favorite episodes is when the gang was watching a hilarious performance on stage as actors portrayed Aang, Zuko, Katara, Sokka, Ozai, and even Azula. Anyways, I think you will enjoy this tutorial on "how to draw elements" especially if you are interested in the series. Peace out people, I will be back in a bit with three more lessons on the way so stay tuned in.

# How to Draw Elements

## STEP 1.

Start by making some basic shapes and lines for the beginning of the elements. For the leaf or earth element, draw a slightly slanted line, for the air you will be making clouds so that means you will have to draw an egg shape. Next is the element of fire so you will need to draw a small circle. Lastly, draw a rainbow shape for water.

## STEP 2.

Now you will draw out the shape of the leaf completely, and then draw out one part of the cloud. Now sketch out the burning flame, and then draw a half crescent shape for the water wave.

## STEP 3.

Draw out the other cloud for the air element, and then add some detailing for the fire element. You will then finish off this step by adding the water droplets for the water wave which is part of the element of water.

## STEP 4.

For the last drawing step all you have to do is finish off the leaf by adding the rib detailing, and then draw out a smaller cloud for the element of air. Lastly, draw some more droplets for the water wave, and then begin erasing the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

## STEP 5.

Here is what your elements look like when you are all done. You can go ahead and color them in and now you are all done. Did you have fun drawing the four elements of Aang, Katara, Zuko, and Toph? I know I did.
