Sketch out the actual shape of Mumble starting with the head, and then moving down the body. Once that is done, you can draw two dots for the eyes, and then make the shape for the beak like so.

Description: Okay guys, I am so excited to be uploading this first tutorial of the day and my reasons for making this lesson is because there is going to be a part two coming out in 2011. Today I am going to show you "how to draw Mumble", step by step. I know you guys are familiar with the movie Happy Feet right? Well the main character was a penguin named Mumble, and he was absolutely one of my favorite figures in the flick. The first time I watched Happy Feet I really thought it was going to stink. But as the movie progressed it was getting better and better. I soon found myself hooked to a children's movie that almost made me feel like a seven year old child again. I was laughing, smiling, pulled in, and even amazed. There was so many awesome songs that where sung with altering styles from each penguin that sang. But for Mumble there was no such thing as singing. Instead the only way he could express himself through being creative is by dancing. He was extremely light footed, and the way he tapped his way across the snow covered ice made him look like a silky smooth piece of ice being tossed around on a wet surface without any friction at all. Needless to say I wound up falling in love with Mumble and with the movie Happy Feet in general. I plan on doing more characters from the flick since I am so exciting that the creators decided to come out with a part two to the original. Now as far as who is cast for the new sequel, it's all the same voice actors except of course Gloria. She is going to be voiced by Pink because as you know Brittany Murphy was Gloria's voice in the first flick but since she passed away Pink will pick up the pieces. Mumble is still going to be voiced by Elijah Wood, and Robin Williams also returns as the crazy and unforgettable Ramon. I can't wait to see Happy Feet 2 in 3D. I think you will have fun learning "how to draw Mumble", and look for the rest of the cast in a section I will be making called how to draw Happy Feet characters. I will be back with another awesome lesson so stay tuned in to see what they will be.
