How to Draw Chibi Scar

The Lion King has got to be one of Disney's more popular movies that they have ever created. Since all the chibi Disney characters have been getting awesome reviews, I thought it would be awesome to upload a tutorial on "how to draw chibi Scar", step by step. I have to say that this drawing was so much fun creating because it is always fun drawing animal chibis especially those that are from our favorite animated movies and cartoon series. As you know Scar is the main villain in Lion King, and he is one of the perfect specimens that has ever been created as far as bad guys go. To be honest with you, I like Scar more than any other character in the movie because he is crude, rude, smart, and savoy. If you are a big fan of The Lion King, than you should really love this tutorial that will teach in you perfect detail, "how to draw chibi Scar". I guess that is all I really have to say about this lesson. I do still have many more submissions that will be coming your way very shortly. Have fun guys, and remember to stay logged into Dragoart.com because all the fun starts here when it comes to learning how to draw. Peace people!

how to draw chibi scar step 1

STEP 1.

To start this first step on drawing chibi Scar, all you have to do is draw a circle for the head, and then draw out an almost slanted, rounded triangular shape for his body like so. When that is done add the guidelines for the body, and for the face.

STEP 2.

As you can see you will now start sketching out the shape of Scar's snout, and then some hairy or fury cheeks. When that is done add the forehead line, and then draw out and color in the big busy eyebrows which are drawn on a slanted angle like so.

STEP 3.

Now it's time to start sketching out chibi Scar's big bushy mane. When that is done, you can then start drawing out the eyes, nose line, and then the bridge of the nose too. Scar always has a mean or hardened look which is basically due to the fact that he is always in a bitter mood.

STEP 4.

Sketch out the ear, and then color in the eyeball, and leave the pupil whited out. When that is all set add more detailing to his nose, and then draw out the mouth. Draw out the legs, chest, stomach and then his paws.

STEP 5.

Now it's time to finish off chibi Scar and you will do this by sketching out the hind legs, the back paws, his back line, and then finally his long tail. When that is done be sure to sketch out the tail tip fur like so, and then begin erasing all the lines and shapes you drew in step one. Add some sketching detailing like so inside of the ear, and then proceed to step six to see what your chibi Scar looks like when the drawing is complete.

STEP 6.

When all is said and done, this is how the drawing comes out. Now you can color him in, and don't forget to add his signature scar over his eye. Thanks for joining me for this lesson on how to draw chibi Scar.

aww thanks! I am currently reading book 8 (the outcast). Guardian of Ga'hoole books are VERY difficult to get in australia, I have to order mine from book depository in the U.K. otherwise I probably would have almost finished the series lol but its worth the effort lol lol

hmmm well i guess A LOT of practice makes a huge difference when drawing owls or anything really. for most of my owl drawings I looked at a photo for reference (I have even seen some photos that DAWN has used as a reference!), a few tutorials (I am currently drawing a barn owl and using finalprodigy's tutorial as a base) and finally, browse the internet for drawings of realistic owls, feathers ect. that is basically it, but I guess easier said than done lol! lol
