To draw a nice looking stoned heart, you'll be needing to draw a nice foundation to understand the basic idea. Take your time to draw the curves accurately.

2

Next, draw the stoned edges for the heart. Each end of edges require a defining line that turns into a tinier heart shape in the middle.

3

Then draw the inner shape before you add the attaching 3-D lines. Adding a few cracks will add a nice touch to the overall drawing.

4

This is what your finished drawing should result. Erase the guide you drew from step one and start polishing! You can use really good inking pens like Microns, to add clean and pretty lines. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial! Have fun and good luck :)

Description: This is the last simple lesson for the night. To say good-bye for this fine Friday, I will be ending my tutorial submission day by uploading a lesson on how to draw a stone, step by step. Stones are gems, diamonds, or anything else that is found in the ground or earth. There are things like rhinestones, birthstones like sapphires, opals, garnets, the amethyst, aquamarine, pearl, emerald, ruby, peridot, topaz, and the blue zircon are all different forms of stones. This tutorial is going to be a drawing that looks very much like a heart, but it is in fact a stone. This would actually make a great design for a diamond ring for a gentleman that is shopping for an engagement ring, or it would even make a really nice setting for a necklace. The lesson itself is going to be pretty simple. All you will be doing is drawing out the shape of a heart that is filled with rough edges, and sides. The chiseled look of this stone is what makes it look genuine and beautiful at the same time. If you have your own idea for a gem design, let’s see it. I love looking at new, creative innovations that gets submitted to the artwork page. I guess that is all I have to say about this tutorial on how to draw a stone. Make sure you enjoy the rest of your drawing day, and make sure you tweak the design to your own specifications. Adios for the night guys, come back tomorrow to join me for more drawing fun!
