How to Draw Clamantha
I’m trying to pick my brain as I sit here figuring out what to call a lesson I drew yesterday. It came out so freakin awesome, and I really want to submit it, but I have no clue what to call it. Now because I’m stuck on what to name this certain tutorial, I will just go ahead and submit two lessons that are going to be based on some extra characters from the new cartoon animation, ‘Fish Hooks’. To start, I will show you "how to draw Clamantha", step by step. Now just like her name suggests, Clamantha is a clam and she is also one of Bea’s friends that goes to Freshwater High. If you guys watched the show before, you should already know that Clamantha has a crazy obsessive crush on Oscar and she will basically do anything for him, and to him. Like all clams, she is also capable of spitting out pearls and she does this on a daily basis. I like her character because of the fact that she is a little strange, and over the top. I guess you can say that I like characters that are a bit strange, bold, and somewhat fearless. I say fearless because of all the stuff she does. Clamantha will do almost anything just for one moment with Oscar, and to me that takes a lot of nerve. Nervy people or clams are usually the ones that are the funniest. I guess that’s all I have to say about this Fish Hooks character, but I will leave you with this tutorial on "how to draw Clamantha", step by step. She is pretty simple to draw seeing how she is just a clam. I will be back, and hopefully I come up with a title for the drawing I made yesterday. Peace out people, and have fun today!

STEP 1.
Drawing Clamantha is going to be a lot of fun. All you have to do is start with an egg shape, and then add some facial or clammy guidelines.
STEP 2.
The next thing you want to do is draw out the shape of Clamantha's body like so, and as you can see she has what looks like a fin like tail, but this is actually her clam shell.
STEP 3.
Draw her thick clammy lips, and then draw out her disproportionate eyes like so. Her eyes is what really gives her that crazy look. Once that is done, begin drawing out her hair.
STEP 4.
For your last drawing step, all you have to do is draw in her lip line in the middle of her mouth, and then draw in the pupils, eyelashes, and her ponytail. As you can see she also has some shell definition going on under her belly and on her shell end. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to finish off this cute character.
STEP 5.
Heres what she looks like when you are all done. Now you can color her in, and add her to the group. I hope you had fun drawing Clamantha.Comments: Post Comment
