How to Draw a Faerie

I've always been a fan of fantasy worlds and creatures from nonexistent worlds. So is that when I asked to draw a fairy, was quite exciting, in fact, this is the first fairy drawing I ever finish, I hope it will be useful for you. I think the most important is to highlight the fact that these creatures are not human beings, they are capricious and impulsive elemental beings so, Its necessary give some features that away a little from the daily human form, perhaps giving a skin color somewhat different than usual,the same with hair and eye color. Obviously the pointy ears are a classic feature of these fantastic beings, but in this case I wanted to give feet and fingers pointed also to highlight the rarity of these creatures. Their wings accrued reflect the item to which they belong or their havitat. in this case, she is a rain and moist forests fairy , an habitat full of mushrooms and fungi,thats why I give her the hallucinogenic color ;)
