To start, draw a large circle for the head, and then make another smaller oval circle for the snout. Lastly, add the facial guidelines like you see here.

The next thing you will be doing is sketching out the small beady shapes of the eyes, and then the nose tip. As you can see the nose is almost shaped like a heart.

It's now time to sketch out the huge head shape, and then add the small ears. once that is done begin drawing out the shape of the open mouth starting with the top, and then add some definition to the nose to make it look more realistic.

Continue to sketch out the lower portion of the mouth which is roaring like so. When that is done add the lining for the lips, and gum line. Add some sketched detailing to the face which is mainly the fur. This mild light sketch lines will not only a

For your last drawing step add more light sketching to add some definition and detail in the ears, around the face frame, and sketch out the chest like so. You will then finish the eyes, and draw in the bears mouth consisting of a tongue, and massive

When the drawing is all cleaned up, you should have an awesome realistic sketch of a bear like the one you see here. You can color it in if you want, or you can also leave it as a sketched bear. Don't forget to color in the eyes, and inside the mouth

Description: Okay I’m back with some more drawing fun. For my fourth lesson of the day, I will be teaching you guys "how to draw a realistic bear", step by step. Since I live up north there is a lot of different types of bears that either live in my vicinity, or close by. This tutorial is going to be based on one of the world’s largest bears, and that is the Grizzly or, brown bear. Grizzly bears are big, strong, and will eat practically anything. Now even though I said they are also called brown bears, the fact is they are actually a subspecies to the brown bear. These massive animals can mainly be found in North America especially in Alaska. Like a lot of bears, the grizzlies are also solitary animals, which means they prefer to be by themselves most of the time. Unless of course there is a mother with her young, that is actually the only time they will travel in a small group. In the summer months, they will sit near streams and wait for salmon to run upstream as they try and make a break for the ocean water. As they sit and feast on fish, they are doing this intentionally to store huge amounts of fat so they can sustain the cold winter months. Remember when I said that grizzlies will eat anything? Well for the most part that is true, but their diets mainly consist of nuts, berries, fruits, roots, and leaves. Yes they also eat red meat ranging from mice to moose. They get their names because of their coats will almost always have hair with white tips which gives the fur a 'grizzled' look, pretty cool huh? If you’re wondering how big these animals grow up to be, the answer is simple, around eight hundred pounds, and they get as big as eight feet in height. Imagine something that big standing on their hind legs as they look you in your eyes. Yikes. Unlike black bear, grizzlies are more aggressive and they can be without a doubt, dangerous to humans especially if a mother is with her cubs. Nowadays there is only about one thousand grizzlies left in the U.S., but they are still hunted in places like Canada, and Alaska where they are considered to be a trophy prize. I guess that does it for this description, I might be back with one more tutorial for you all. In the meantime, have fun learning "how to draw a realistic bear" in the form of a grizzly, and make sure you take your time as you follow the steps. Adios people!
