You will start by drawing an oval shape for the head, and then add another shape for the upper body of the wasp. Next, draw the body line of position, and then add another circle for the end of the insect. You will finish this step by drawing the res

You will now start sketching out the shape of the wasp's head like you see here, and then add some fuzz on the head, and then begin drawing out the body. Once that is done you can draw the waist that looks like a belt.

The next thing you will do is draw out the shape of the wasp's eye like you see here. Add some detailing or definition around the top, and bottom of the eye, and then draw in the antenna and the neck. You will also draw the shape of the wing, and the

Okay, now you will draw in the antenna's fully, and then add some inner detailing to the eye like so. Once that is done you can draw out the other wing, and add some definition to the current wing. Lastly, draw the legs and be sure that you make the

The last thing you will need to do to finish off this wasp is draw in the stripes on the lower part of the body like you see here. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that helped you draw a wasp the way you did.

This is how your wasp looks when you are all done, be sure to color it in. When you are all done, you should have a nice drawing like you see here.

Description: As you now I haven’t uploaded any insect tutorials lately, and because of that I thought I would show you guys "how to draw a wasp", step by step. Now the reason why I chose to draw a wasp is the fact that my seven year old sister was stung by one of these bugs over the summer. She described to me what the pain felt like and all I have to say is I felt bad. The area where the wasp stung her was not only red, it also formed a big welt on her leg. Now wasps look a lot like bees, they are just a bit slender and longer then a bee. They kind of have a mixed appearance between a bee and a hornet to be honest with you. There is a wide variety of wasp species, and among them is the stinging wasp. Now, the females are the only ones that have a stinger, and male stinging wasps do not. Therefor, if you get stung by a wasp, you most likely got bit by a female. The strange thing is, wasps are not known to sting humans at all. They only do this out of defense which means the one that stung my sister must have felt threatened. Did you know that if you are hypoallergenic, just one wasp sting can kill you. Anyway, I wanted this drawing to convey how people view this insect. Not only do we freak out or scream if there is a bee in the car when driving, we also flip out if that insect turns out to be a wasp as well. I think you will enjoy this tutorial on "how to draw a wasp". All you have to do is complete a few steps, and then your done. I have three more submissions coming your way so stay tuned in to see what they will be. Adios people, and have a happy drawing day.
