So far I have uploaded a character with the mouth of a great white, and some pretty violet colored flowers. For my next tutorial, I will be teaching you "how to draw lilacs", step by step and these plants are also purple in color. There is at least one thousand species of lilacs, as well as a bunch of different colors. There is only two flowers I can think of that has a strong, pretty perfumy smell, and that is the rose, and the lilac plant. The great thing about lilac bushes is the fact that once planted, they will flower, and smell up a yard for hundreds of years. People like George Washington, and Thomas Jefferson had lilacs growing in their gardens as an added beauty throughout their landscapes. The only problem with lilacs, is the fact they only stay as a bloomed flower for just a few weeks. After that, they are just plain bushes that provides shade instead of a picture perfect view. Even though these purple beauties are a very popular plant in the United States, they originated from places like Europe, and Asia. According to various gardening magazines, it is possible to keep lilacs blooming from the beginning of the season, all the way to the end of the season. This is due to the fact that there is a variety of lilac plants that are early, mid, and late bloomers. Did you know that this plant has been a part of the United States since 1750? It’s true, lilacs are considered to be one of Americas first botanical garden plant. Pretty neat huh? Anyways, along with being an amazing smelling flower, there is one state that holds the plant close to their heart, and that place is Rochester New York. This is due to the fact that a fellow named John Dunbar planted twenty different types of lilac plants back in 1892 in the Highland Park area. He was a horticulturist, and because of what he did, Rochester has what you call a Lilac Festival once a year. Highland Park now has five hundred lilac species, and over twelve hundred plants on a one hundred, fifty five acre lot. Now that is a fresh smelling place to be if you want to get lost in bunch of sweet smelling flowers. Well, if you like this plant, you should love this tutorial on "how to draw lilacs". I will be back once again because there is still two more tutorials that need to go up. Peace out people, and try not to get lost in the imaginary smell.
