Like in my previous tutorial on how to draw the ocean; start this step off by drawing the horizon line. Of course we want to attract the viewers attention towards the oceanic area of this landscape; so I simply cut off most of the sky view. Draw a lo

Here you'll want to draw the dividing point of the land and sea. Start sketching out the waves that flush with the sand. Once you move your way up to the vanishing point, draw a few rocks to give the landscape a more "oceanic feeling". To give this v

Lastly, draw the foamy area that surrounds the waves. Drawing this will of course add realism to your oceanic scene. Sketch some detailing on the rocks so you have unity with the amount of detailing encrypted in waves. Feel free to add some extra san

If you followed this tutorial correctly, your drawing should resemble this. Erase the guidelines that was denoted in gray, and you should be set to start polishing! Get a nice inking pen (preferably Microns) and start inking out your sea drawing! Add

Description: There are so many habitats in the world that it can sometimes be unimaginable and stubborn to jot down onto paper. You have the vast abyss of jungles, oceans, forests, deserts, and much more. One of the most common landscape that covers 90% of the worlds land, is the sea. In this tutorial I will simply show you “how to draw a sea step by step”. I've already submitted a really nice lesson on the concept of “drawing a ocean” a day ago. Being smart enough, there's this tutorial I wanted to submit that shows you a different perspective on a sea. Drawing a few mounds of sand, rocks, and waves can be sometimes complicating for artists, especially beginners. I would recommend getting down to a library or Google images for great references on different seascapes. Observe on how the waves, sand, and sky flow together as a whole. You can also pop out a few techniques to equip yourself with colors. Study on how the colors of seascapes mend with one another. It's important that you understand this concept of the realistic world in order to create good art. Once you've known the realistic way, it will be easy to make things warped but semi-realistic. I know, I'm going out of realism myself! If you have a digital program that can process colors and tablet attributes, then your in for a whole other surprise! It's so much fun making vector type landscapes in a digital program. The colors would have to be the most interesting part. Not only does coloring, painting, and drawing digitally help, but it will also improve your skills on paper as well. Exploring different types of medias is a great way to go! Well folks, I have to flee onto another lesson now. Have fun learning “how to draw the sea step by step”!
