How to Draw Draculaura
Has anybody ever heard of Monster High? Well, if you have great, you know exactly who this character is. But if you haven’t I will fill you in on the 411. Monster High is a High School especially made for the children of popular monsters from movies and books. These characters where created by Mattel, and they also carry an extensive clothing, and accessory line. This character that I will be giving you a lesson on today is the daughter of Dracula, which means you will learn "how to draw Draculaura", step by step. Even though her father feeds on the blood of humans, she is what you call a vegetarian. She only eats fruits and vegetables, and she also has to take plenty of iron supplements because as you know, blood is packed with iron. Her skin tone is a flush pink, and her hair is long, straight, and usually worn in pigtails. Now since her favorite color is pink, she rocks a pink ensemble, and even has pink streaks in her long black hair. To her friends her name is Ula D, and as of right now she is one thousand, five hundred ninety nine years old. Two of her BFF’s are Clawdeen Wolf, and Frankie Stein. Well, I guess that is all I can tell you about this smiling bundle of pink joy. I’ll let you get busy as you learn "how to draw Draculaura". STEP 1.
The first thing you do here is make a shape for her head, and then draw the guidelines for the face and torso like so. Once this is done, add more guidelines for the pigtails, and hips, and then the long limb lines for her legs.
STEP 2.
Now begin drawing out her hairstyle which is the top half of her hair or bangs. Then sketch out her pouting eyes, and then add the lashes. Draw the mouth line, and then sketch out the shape of her face, and neck.
STEP 3.
Finish drawing out her eyes, and then draw in the rest of her lips and fangs. Add the line for her bangs, and then draw a small heart on her right cheek like so. You will also need to draw out her earrings, and then draw her long pigtails which curl up at the ends. Next, sketch out her torso, and then her arms.
STEP 4.
Detail the ruffle for her collar, and then draw the detailing lines for vest. Sketch out the skirt and be sure to add the extra ruffle like you see here.
STEP 5.
Now you can start drawing out her legs, and notice how her boots are almost at her knee. Once the thighs and lower legs are drawn out you can begin sketching in the boot strings, and be sure that they look thick.
STEP 6.
You are now ready to finish off this lesson on Draculaura. All you have to do now is draw out the rest of her legs, and feet. Notice how her feet are in stylish shoes. Draw the heels, and then make sure that the shoes are as thick as platforms. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 7.
When you are done, this is how your pretty pink character looks. You are now ready to color her in. I hope you had fun drawing Draculaura, step by step.Comments: Post Comment
