Well, now that I have submitted the embedded link for that cool skull, its now time to submit yet another awesome lesson, but this time it will be my own drawing. Yesterday after I was done with Live stream, I was doodling on my screen as I watched a movie called “The Wedding Crashers”, and if any of you have seen that movie before you will understand why I chose to do this drawing. In the flick, Owen Wilson's character falls for a senator's daughter, and she has a brother that is...well, emo. He is melodramatic, and a total mess. He doesn't know if he's bi-sexual, straight, or gay, and he doesn't even think his parents understand him at all. He looks like the typical emo kid you would see at school or on TV, and he also has the complete personality of an emo kid as well. Anyway, this tutorial is based on the character I was just talking about, and it is also based on my idea on an overly dramatic emo person that takes things to an unbelievable extreme. I know you guys will like this drawing idea on “how to draw a cartoon emo”, step by step. The drawing, the setting, even the coloring is all so perfect, and I will be adding this lesson to my all time favorite drawings done so far. The expression on this cartoon emo's face is absolutely priceless, and I even love how there is a pool of blood under his black fingernail polished hands. Anyway, the possibilities are virtually endless when you want to create, and draw cartoon characters of your own. If you would like to turn this male emo cartoon into a female, just draw long hair, or even some pigtails. STEP 1.
Start by making a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines, and body lines like you see here.
STEP 2.
Now it's time to draw out the hair style like so, and if you have decided to draw a female version, you can add length to the hair, or leave as is and just add ponytails.
STEP 3.
Now you can draw the overstressed eye, and then his screaming open mouth. Add the teeth, and tongue, and then start the lining for his shoulders like so.
STEP 4.
You will now draw out the hands which look up in your face, and then draw the right arm. Notice how there is an outlined shape for the razor he is holding in his hand.
STEP 5.
Add detail and definition to his eye, and then add the detailing to the inside of the mouth which is his gum line, and shape of the tongue and bottom teeth. Finish drawing out his right hand, and then draw the bottom of the shirt. Lastly, add all the blood that is dripping from his veins.
STEP 6.
Draw the lower body which is the legs. His body pose is drawn with him kneeling. This is so the cartoon emo character looks dramatic. Add he detailing lines on the pants where the crotch is, and then draw more blood.
STEP 7.
For your last drawing step, all you have to do is draw the depressed smile face on the shirt, and then draw the puddle of blood that lays in front of him. Erase the lines and shapes, and you are done.
STEP 8.
Here is what the finished drawing looks like. All you have to do now is color him in, and you will have yourself one heck of a drawing on a cartoon emo.Comments: Post Comment

Um, dawn not to be mean but this tut was kinda offencive to me. I'm emo, IK it doesnt sound like it but I hide my emotions. But sorry, the pool of blood wasnt necisary. so please if you do a tut on emos again... please leave out the blood. There are kids who might think emos are bad but to all people like that, "Emo isnt a fashion, its a life style." I'm sure some of you know that, especialy if your like me. But really emo isnt a thing to kid about. BTW Its a good tutorial dawn.

O, yah. And if people want to be, let them be free. Sometimes, suicide is the only survival. (in a comical sense, not meant to offend and say, "o, emos r suicidal freaks!" cuz I'm not doing that, I'm not a poser, and I just wanted to say it) we feel

Emo is emotional
Fighting makes things worse
Get over urselves, it's a picture
Emo is not fashion or colors
There r different reasons for feelings
Feelings can not be controlled
Love cannot overpower anything in sense
Love cannot be destroyed or even lost...
There is a little fun, hurt, misery, happiness, a little truth behind I don't know, a little emotion behind I don't care, a little hurt behind it's ok, a little hate behind I love you. Everyone should think about that...............PLEASE

Y'all, no need to be hatin on the emos. I was once Emo, I should know. Seriously, I wasn't even comparible to others feelings of misery. It is a feeling, and it is a lie that emos don't smile. U can be depressed for any reason, and mine is my bf moved, my parents are whack, and other things. People will always have it worse than me, I know, but...everyone always has a tiny bit of happiness just waiting to be set free, and the same to sadness. So go on and hate somewhere else

No not really, emo are only very emotional People, they can be very Happy too...
In most cases, People who cut themselves isnt emo, i know emo people who wear Pink and s Rainbows

emo is not about fashion i dont see where u people r getting this thought of emo is a fashion statment? im not emo but i know someone who is emo. emo is felling like ur alone, if somthing bad happend in ur childhood and other resons. some emo people have their own way of dealing with things and som might cut themselfs. people have their own personalits and people who think emo is about fashion then ur wrong
