Steps: 7Updated: August 9, 2010P.O.V: FrontFavourited: 2 timesI guess it’s time that I fill another Pokemon request since I haven’t drawn any characters from the popular series latley. Today, I will be teaching you guys “how to draw Flygon", step by step. Now, this is a species that is much like a dragon then anything else. It looks like a flying dragon/dragonfly. Flygon is green in color, and the wings are almost diamond shaped. There is also a reddish colored boarder that outlines the wings, and three pointed tail tips. This Mystic Pokemon species also has very big bug eyes with slitted like pupils. Flygon is an evolution from Vibrava when it reaches level forty five, and it is also the last evolution form of Trapinch. One of the abilities to this neat Pokemon species, is that it’s able to use a technique called sandstorm, but it’s well known ability is Levitate. This technique enables Flygon to evade ground attacks by being in the air. I guess you could say that this is one Pokemon that every trainer should have. Anyway, the lesson itself on "how to draw Flygon" is pretty simple, which means if you are a big Pokemon fan, you will enjoy learning from this tutorial. STEP 1.
As with any Pokemon, you will start this first step the same way. All you have to do first is make a circle for the head, and then another for the lower part of the body like so. When that is done, add the body guidelines, and then the wings and tail lining.
STEP 2.
Begin sketching out the shape of Flygon's head, and then draw in the goggle like eye shapes. When that is done, all you need to do is draw the wispy lined shapes on top of the head, and then add the shapes and lining to form the neck, and lower body like so.
STEP 3.
It is now time to draw Flygon's semi diamond shaped wings. Once that is done, you can continue to draw out the rounded shape of his lower body which also includes the thighs.
STEP 4.
Here, you will finish drawing out the eyes, and the detailing inside of the eyes. When you are done with that task, add the inner lining to make a boarder for it's wings. Also begin drawing out the front arms.
STEP 5.
You are almost done with this lesson. All you have to do here is draw out Flygon's dragon like tail, and then draw the three diamond tipped tail. Add the detailing lines going down the tail, and then sketch out the shapes of it's hind legs, and toeless feet.
STEP 6.
For your last drawing step, all you need to do is add boarder lines for the tail like so, and then finish sketching out the arms, and hands. Also, add the semi slitted eyes or pupils.
STEP 7.
When your drawing is all done, you should end up with a sketch that looks like the one you see here. All you need to do now is color this Pokemon in.Post a comment
