In this next tutorial you will be learning how to draw another character from Winnie the Pooh. So sit back and get ready to draw the lovely adorable Roo. Roo is a character that has been a part of the Hundred Acre Wood and he is friends with all the other animals that live there. Roo is a young kangaroo that lives with his mama Kanga. When he goes exploring with his friends who include Tigger, Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, and sometimes Christopher Robin, he always has a knack for getting in trouble or in a bind. Although Roo gets himself into all kinds of messes, he almost always learns from them and he is taught a valuable lesson. His loving mother Kanga tries to lead Roo down the right path but never tries to shelter him to much. If he had to pick who would his best friend be, it would most likely be Tigger. Roo and his mother Kanga live in a house near the Sandy Pit that is in the northwestern part of the Hundred Acre Wood. After the tales of Winnie the Pooh progress, Tigger eventually comes to live with Roo and Kanga. He is a very cheerful, charismatic, joyful, and energetic young joey that has most of his fun come from discovering all the different things in the woods where he lives. Although Roo is explained as being very smart and informative, he has no idea how to read or write yet because he is so young. His innocent childish view of the world proves that he is much wiser than his years. When ever I see Roo in a Pooh story I can’t help but to watch until it is over. I think he is adorable, funny, and full of life for a fictional character. I love how Disney portrayed their version of little Roo from the books of Winnie the Pooh. Adults and children alike take a liken to this simple spirited kangaroo from the Hundred Acre Wood. You will learn how to draw Roo from Winnie the Pooh step by step. I hope you enjoy this tutorial and maybe one day you too can hope along with joy when you are done.
