How to Draw Goku Super Saiyan 4, Step by Step, Dragon Ball Z Characters, Anime, Draw Japanese Anime, Draw Manga, FREE Online Drawing Tutorial, Added by Dawn, June 7, 2008, 4:26:25 pm

In this first step what you will do is draw out the guidelines and shapes for Goku SS4. Start by drawing the shape of his round head and then sketch in the shape of his wild looking hair style as shown. Next draw out the shape of his shoulders and arms. Notice there are circles for his arms these are going to be his muscles. Now from the shape of his torso draw the guideline frame for his legs and shoes.

STEP 2.

Here as you can see you will start shaping out Goku's hair style. At first it starts to look like a bunch of tails crushed together but it will all come together in the end product. Now you can start shaping out his legs as you can see here. He is wearing very big looking baggy pants.

STEP 3.

Now you will start sketching in some needed detail and definition starting with Goku's face. Sketch in his eyes, cheeks, and mouth. Now detail his neck with lines for the bones and skin. Start detailing the arms as seen here and give him a wrist band on each arm. Sketch in detailing on his hands and start ruffling up his pants.

STEP 4.

In this step which is step four you will start sketching out his chest definition and creating his waist band. You will also need to wrinkle up his pants more with more simple lining. Dragon Ball Z characters a very simple to draw when you take your time with them. Just follow the instructions and if you need to enlarge the step to see all the detailing that needs to be done.

STEP 5.

In this last part you will draw out his eyes and finish off his hair. Sketch in more wrinkle lining as shown to you here and detail the bottom right pant leg. After you have completed all the steps you can erase any visible guidelines and shapes that you drew in step 1.

STEP 6.

This is what your final Goku SS4 should look like after you added some shading. Al you have to do is color him in. That will do it for this tutorial on how to draw Goku as Super Saiyan 4 from Dragon Ball GT.

Artist CommentsOnce again on DragoArt you will be learning how to draw a character from the Dragon Ball GT series Goku in his Super Saiyan 4 formation. I would like to point out that this is going to be the final Dragon Ball character that I will be doing because I have done so many already. All my favorite characters from all different sagas are submitted here. I had a load of fun drawing each individual one of them and I hope that all of you that wanted to learn how to draw Dragon Ball Z characters had some fun as well and also learned a thing or two about drawing. As you all know (well who ever follow the GT series) a Super Saiyan 4 can only be achieved in a series of steps. The first step is to transform into a Saiyan and before going into a Super Saiyan form he must have an initiative to go beyond the normal state, so when this happens the muscles get bigger, he forms a golden glow around his whole body and his hair turns into a golden blonde color. The second step to become a SS4 is turning into an Ultra Super Saiyan this is accomplished when the Saiyan uses all his power to try and become Super Saiyan 2. When a Saiyan becomes an Ultra Super Saiyan, his muscles get even larger, a bigger golden glow occurs, and his hair becomes erect and more depth is visible in it. Gohan is the only Saiyan that achieved Super Saiyan 2 without reaching Ultimate Super Saiyan. Super Saiyan 2 is a transformation that is achieved when triggered by anger. Oozaru is another transformation that happens when a Saiyan is exposed to the light of a full moon and they have to control over transforming into a giant beast that looks like an ape. Super Saiyan 3 is by far the oddest of all the Dragon Ball Z transformations because you have to do through so much training that only the elite Saiyan can transform into a Super Saiyan 3. Golden Oozaru is a transformation level that is achieved by Goku and Bedi-Vegeta in Dragon Ball GT. Golden Oozaru is the most powerful of all stages that a Saiyan can transform into. Finally we come to Super Saiyan 4. This is the final transformation that any Saiyan is able to achieve. This particular transformation involves a Saiyan having a tail and the combination of Super Saiyan 4 Goku and Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta creates Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, which is the strongest person in the entire anime. In this tutorial you will learn how to draw Goku in his Super Saiyan 4 transformation. I hope you had a ton of fun with all the DBZ characters and maybe I will do one more someday. Ta ta.
