I think it's time for another fun, easy, and cute lesson that will go well with the previous tutorial I submitted yesterday on Pooh Bear. When I was doing my lessons yesterday I wanted to draw something that was easy enough for everybody to try out. So having said that, let's learn "how to draw a beehive", step by step. What better way to accessorize Pooh then with a hive or two. Beehives have been known to carry a good source of natural honey, and back in the early years, folks used to get their honey supply by finding, and harvesting bee made beehives. Nowadays there are man made hives that consists of a wooden box that holds ten boards with screens on them that are removable. The honeybees are placed inside of these boxes and it is there that they produce honey, and bees wax. Individuals called beekeepers, will extract the honey and wax that bees produce by scraping them off the screened boards. Once the honey and combs are removed, it is placed into a machine the separates the honey from the combs. From a spout at the bottom of the processor, out comes a stream of fresh, sweet, homemade honey. Beekeepers have to wear special suits that protect them from getting stung by bees as they tend to the hives. They also use a fogger that omits a streaming fog which clears bees away from the boxes as the beekeeper tends to the hives. The whole process is rather fascinating, and I actually had a friend who’s father was a beekeeper. He didn't have a huge harvest, only about ten boxes that produced honey. Anyways, I wanted to draw a cute, original beehive that is typically seen in cartoons and in other illustrations. I think you guys will have fun when it comes to learning "how to draw a beehive", step by step. I will be back in a moments time with some other fun, and cool lessons for your all. Peace peeps!
