In this first easy step start your drawing by sketching out the guidelines and shapes of Piglet as shown. Draw out the shape of his head firs which is a misshapen circle then draw in facial guidelines. Now draw out the shape of his oblong body and then draw out the guidelines for his legs and arms.

Step 2.

Now here is another easy step. All you will need to do is draw out his facial features. But first start by drawing out the shape of his pig looking long ears. Then draw two small eyebrows and two oblong dots for his eyes. Now draw a big wide open smile. Finish off this step with the completion of his arms and legs.

Step 3.

Lastly in this step you can start drawing out the stripes on his shirt there is a total of 9 lines that go across his body. Now draw a small line inside his mouth for his tongue and then his pig looking nose. Erase all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step 1 then proceed onto the next step.

Step 4.

This is what your drawing of Piglet should look like when you are done drawing him out. All that is left to do is color him in and put him next to his other friends. That will do it for this tutorial on how to draw Piglet from Winnie the Pooh step by step.

Artist CommentsHello again people and welcome back to another fun filled tutorial on DragoArt.com. Today you will be learning how to draw Piglet who is yet another character from Winnie the Pooh. Piglet is a small pink stuffed animal pig that happens to be the best friend of Pooh Bear. Piglet is a very young pig and some suggest he is just a baby. Like most of the characters from the book and show he is a stuffed animal owned by Christopher Robin. Piglets studdering personality make him seem very innocent and kind. He is seen often asking for advice first from Pooh then from Tigger and so on. Like the other residents of the Hundred Acre Wood, Piglet is close to his friend Christopher, probably closest than the rest. Even though Pooh is his best friend, you often see him going on long journeys with Tigger and Eeyore. When ever he is with Tigger he seems more like a kid that is being taught by a grown up. When he is with Eeyore he seems like the teacher and his mule friend is the student. He is often heard saying “Oh Dear” quite a bit and he seems like a little worry wart as well. He also plays with the famous Roo. This little guy loves playing with Piglet because he is closest to his own age and they get along just swell. Piglet can sometimes be a very brave animal for such a very small and timid pig. The color of his shirt is pink but back in the day it use to be green until Disney changed it to pink, and his shirt has stripes that go across his belly and chest. This little pig also has a favorite food and it happens to be acorns or haycorns. One of the most famous things that Piglet does for a hobby is hunt and track Heffalump. Heffalump are big animals that resemble elephants. I wouldn’t doubt that these stuffed animals are Christopher Robin’s version of an elephant. There was a movie released I think last year where it was all about the Heffalump finally being found and that was a good show. I’m pretty sure it was called “Winnie the Pooh The Movie”, but I could be wrong.
