You will now start by drawing a circle shape for Mr. Popo's head, and then add the facial guidelines. Now you will finish this step by drawing in the guidelines for his body like you see here.

2

Thicken the lining you drew for the head, and then draw in the eyes, and mouth shapes like you see here. When that is done you can then draw out the funny looking shape which happens to be the ears, and front of his chest, and vest lining.

Okay, this is a step that will keep you busy for more then two minutes. The first thing you want to do is draw out the crisscross lining that makes up the genie style hat, and then draw in the jewel or gem in the middle. Next, add two dots for his ey

All you will really have to do here is sketch out the rest of his body which is in the form of his hips, legs, and shoes. The pants should be drawn to look baggy, and you will need to draw in some crease lines in between his legs like so. Once that i

To finish off Mr. Popo, all you have to do is draw in the crease lines in the sash, and then ruffle up the bottom of the pants like you see here. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.

Now that you are all done, you should have an awesome looking drawing like the one you see here. All that's left to do is color in Mr. Popo, and your all done. I hope you had fun with this lesson.

Description: Wow, I can’t believe all the comments and requests I have been getting, and to tell you the truth it’s nice to see a variety of stuff that people want me to draw, and make a tutorial out of. Today for my first lesson, I will upload a tutorial on a specific Dragon Ball character that is considered to be a sacred being. So, without further ado, let me teach you "how to draw Mr. Popo", step by step. If you are a fan of the series you should already know who he is. For those of you that are fans of DBZ, but haven’t heard of Mr. Popo, I will fill you in on the 411 so you know who he is. Mr. Popo, is what you call a deity but unlike a normal deity, he is eternally captive to serve the grounds of Kami’s Lookout. It is there where he serves as the grounds keeper who takes care of the land and such. Anyways, Mr. Popo is a genie that is black in color, and a bit chubby in shape and size. His lips are colored red, or a dark pink, and he wears the traditional genie attire, along with a pair of gold hoops and one visible tooth. I think he is a cool addition to the series storyline, and even though it’s not often seen, Mr. Popo is actually a very skilled martial arts master. I guess you could say he is a servent more then anything else because not only does he serve Kami, he also served many other guardians of the Earth in the past. This means Popo would have to be extremely old indeed. Now, because he is skilled in the arts, he is the one that trained Goku for three whole years while Goku was at the Lookout. With the new skills that Goku learned from Mr. Popo, he was able to defeat Piccolo Jr. during the twenty third World Martial Arts Tournament. If you really think about it, I guess Popo plays an important role in the series because without this diligent genie, Goku wouldn’t have learned powerful moves such as Super Kamehameha. In all, I think you guys will enjoy this tutorial that will teach you "how to draw Mr. Popo", step by step. You will find that drawing a DragonBall character isn’t so bad after all. I still have some more fun lessons on the way so try and stay tuned in to see what else I have hiding up my sleeve. Adios amigos!
