Start off by drawing the slightly curved lines which is going to be for the small foothills of the forest or woods. When that is done draw the stick like tree trunks and limbs like so.

2

Tackle one hill at a time, and when you do so, add some texture to the surface lining. When that is done draw in a bush off to the right, and then begin drawing out the shapes of the four tree trunks you see here.

Sketch out the caps or tops to each tree like you see here. You can get creative and draw different style foliage if you like, or you can keep it as is. Once the trees are taken care of, add some more shrubbery, and then add some grass at the base of

For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw in another tree in the far distance, and then add more bushes, rocks, and some berries on the bush in front of you. Once that is done, add some detailing lines in the trunks, and then finish off t

In the end this is what your drawing should come out looking like. All you need to do now is color in your woods that you just drew.

Description: Now that I have submitted a DBZ character that couldn’t be found anywhere as a lesson, I can move onto simpler things like this tutorial that will teach you "how to draw woods". I figured since summer is here, and a lot of people are going on camping, hiking, and trailing trips, a lesson on drawing the woods would be a fun thing to tackle. What makes the forest a scary place? Well for starters, it’s filled with all kinds of wildlife from all walks of life. The woods contain animals like bears, deer, moose, wild boar, birds, turkeys, raccoons, the worst of all, all kinds of incredibly annoying insects like flies, mosquitoes, black flies, gnats, ants, spiders, and other creepy crawlies. For me, if I go camping or hiking, I have to be dressed in full gear with plenty of Deep Woods spray in my backpack. Don’t get me wrong I’m wary of the animals, too, but animals usually won’t approach humans on the whim, insects will which makes them feared, or at least to me anyway. The drawing I sketched is a view of what your typical wooded area might look like. There is plenty of big trees, and other foliage that covers the earth along with dirt and other debris like rocks, and sticks. Of course you can’t forget about the high grass, and other bushes that ticks and other bloodsuckers like to hang out in. In general, this is going to be easy as 1, 2, 3 to tackle and complete. Learning "how to draw woods" is the perfect lesson to tackle especially if you have a trip planed in the upcoming month or so. Well, I guess that does it for this tutorial description. It’s time for me to bounce out of here so I can write out another submission so you guys can get busy with something new. I will be back soon so don’t stray too far. Peace out mi amigos, and have fun drawing.
