As with Hank what you will be doing in this step is drawing out the guidelines and shapes to create a solid frame for Dale Gribble. Start by drawing out his oblong narrow head with facial guidelines sketched in. After that you can start drawing the shape of his t-shirt. From those two lines draw out the connecting guidelines for the legs, arms, and neck.

Step 2.

Now as you can see you will start to draw out Dale's face in this step as well as other things. Start by drawing two circles for his glasses, and then the lid for his hat that he always wears. Now draw the collar of his shirt as shown and then his legs.

Step 3.

Here as you can see you will draw out the side burns which is the only hair he has I think. Next draw out his nose and the two small lines around his mouth to detail his grin. Draw a straight line right in the middle of his button up shirt, draw his pocket, arm, watch, and belt. Now you are complete.

Step 4.

Now here in this last step of drawing you will draw out the emblem on his hat as well as the can of beer he is holding in his hand. Speaking of hands you have to draw them too. Not only then will you be completely done. Erase all the guidelines and shapes.

Step 5.

So with that said get prepared to start your drawing journey to learn how to draw Dale Gribble from King of the Hill. Who is Dale Gribble and what does he do exactly. The answer to that question can easily be answered with a few brief words. First of all Dale is the type of guy that worries about everything. He worries that aliens come to earth and abduct people, he thinks that the United States government is out to get everyone and steal their rights. He also believes that man kind never landed on the moon and that it was all just a conspiracy. The things that Dale Gribble does enjoy is playing an occasional game of golf with his buddies, Smoking cigarettes, and being with his wife Nancy Hicks Gribble. Nancy is often seen hanging around with Peggy and she also works as a weather girl for Channel 84 News. Some may know Nancy as the blond who had an affair with the Native American medicine man John Redcorn. It wasn't just any old affair, it was a 14 year long affair. The reason for her and Dale being married together is some what of a mystery to me as well as many other King of the Hill viewers. Especially how Dale is not even the father of his believed to be son Joseph. Dale had no idea for some time that he wasn't the father of this boy that looked Native American. Eventually Nancy told him and they worked their problems out. I personally believe that opposites attract. In this tutorial you will learn how to draw Dale Gribble from King of the Hill step by step.
