First begin with drawing the very simple guidelines for the design. This will help you draw everything else proportionally well.

2

Start off by drawing the Sombrero. Once again, if you don't want to draw the skull or the maracas, don't add the guidelines for the skull head. Start drawing the maracas and you should be all set.

3

Start sketching the design for the Sombrero. This could be fairly easy due to the sombrero already drawn out. Add the skull right beneath the opening for the hat. Don't forget to sketch the sticks for the maracas.

4

Add the details for the skull face. The maracas should be a snap because of the simple design on them. If you want, you can add some other design on them. Be careful when you draw the mouth of the skull.

5

This step is fairly easy. Add some extra details and the teeth and you should be all set.

6

Clean up your sketchy lines or mistakes and ink your drawing out! This shouldn't be too hard to finish. I recommend using a nice micron pen for the finish lines. Once you're done, hang up the drawing, color it, or simply give it away. I hope you enjo

Description: Another lesson today will be dedicated to the awesome people of the Mexican culture. Today we will learn ”how to draw a Sombrero step by step”. This tutorial seriously reminds me of Nacho Libre. That movie has to be one of my favorite movies that Jack Black has acted in. One of my favorite parts would have to be the part when he’s eating the watermelon and Ramses smashes his head into it. My whole family cracked out laughing. Anywho, let’s talk about the tutorial. This skull design would have to be one of my most colorful designs. The maracas were inspired by crossbones. The hat is obviously the hat that resembles a cowboy hat. I was a bit tired when I came up with this design as well. Right now, I want to tell you how much time this tutorial took me and the color scheme I chose. The colors were obviously based on the colors of the natural Mexican cultures. The overall drawing took me about three hours to sketch, ink, and color. I tried making this drawing simpler for the novice artists. If you have any difficulty with this, please tell me how you made out with it. ”Drawing a Sombrero” can be easy. If you don’t want to draw the skull or the maracas, leave it out and just draw the hat. You could possibly add the hat atop of the maracas if you want. Anyways folks, I have to leave now, my time is running low. Thanks for viewing and have fun with drawing this art!
