Tomorrow is supposed to be ninety degrees here where I live, and to tell you the truth, that is too hot for me. What I really need in my backyard is a nice, big pool. Now because I'm not fortunate enough to have such luxuries, I will have to just fantasize, and think to myself what it would be like to have a pool, and what type of pool I would have if given the chance to build one. This tutorial is going to be on "how to draw a pool", step by step. The swimming pool of my dreams would have to be a built-in model, and it would also be round instead of a perfect rectangle or square. The depth in the middle of the pool would be at least nine to twelve feet deep. I want the center to be deep because I might also want a diving board that goes out to edge line of the center spot of the pool. This way here if I wanted to just dive for a while, I could do so perfectly. Of course the diving board would have to be retractable, which will enable it to go in and out when ever I want to dive or just swim. I was going to draw a swimming pool that was above ground, but then I thought that sketching out something that I dream about would be better. By the way, the surroundings wouldn't be filled with just a line of bushes, it would actually be designed a lot better then that. Anyways, the most important thing right now is to have a lesson that will give you a good idea how to make a pool step by step. Will be back a bit later with more drawing fun, so stay tuned in guys to see what I have next in store. Adios people!

How to Draw a Pool

how to draw a pool step 1

STEP 1.

Start with a large oblong oval shape for the outline of the pool's surface or diameter.

STEP 2.

Next, draw another circle shape on the inside of the original shape you just drew. When that is done you can then draw the ladder railings so you can get out of your pool.

STEP 3.

All you have to do now is draw the boarder line that separates the pool's surface, to the walk or tree line. There is no need to erase any lines or shapes because there is none, you utilized them all.

STEP 4.

This is what your drawing looks like when you are done. If you drew this pool on a larger canvas, you have room to add some lounge chairs, and tables.
