How to Draw Link

1

Let's start by sketching out a workable frame for Link. Begin with the circle for his head, and then draw the wire framing for the body, and his sword.

2

You will begin sketching out the shape of his face, and then his neck. Start the drawing process for Link's eyes, and then his shirt collar.

3

Finish sketching out Link's face, and then draw in the hairstyle, and then draw Link's elven ears. Once that is done you can add the eyeballs, and then his famous hat. Next, draw the collar folds for his shirt and or attire.

4

Finish off his face, and then add some detailing inside of his ears. Next, draw the shoulders, and Links shirt sleeves. Once that is done you can draw the strap going across his chest which is for holster for Link's sword. Add the wrinkles and crease

Now you will sketch out his arms, and then his protective wrist bands. Once that is complete, you can draw in his belt, and the rest of his shirt length. Be sure to add the detailing to his clothes so that your Link looks realistic.

It's now time to sketch out Link's Master Sword like you see here. The blade has been nicely sculptured as you can see, and the hand guard is also very nicely done. The hand guard is in the shape of a "U". Next, add some detailing to his wrist band l

Description: If you go in the video game section where all the tutorials are on a bunch of video game characters, you will see that there is a really old lesson on one of the main characters from The Legend of Zelda. As you know I like making updated versions of pop culture beings that have made an everlasting impression on the gaming industry. Today, I will be doing a new and improved version on "how to draw Link", step by step. I don't even think I need to explain to you guys who Link is because the video game has been around since the eighties. Link is a playable character in the million dollar game series of Zelda. Because he is so very popular, there has been a bunch of merchandise, including pins, wallets, clothes, hats, pencils, posters, and so forth made in Link's image. I myself enjoy the game series, but there is no one in my household that loves Zelda more then my fifteen year old brother. I kid you not, he has got to be one of the biggest fans of Zelda, but more importantly, Link himself. This sketch on Link came out awesome, and I think I did a great job capturing the very essence of this character. I really did have a ton of fun drawing him out, and I think you too will enjoy this tutorial on “how to draw Link” too. I was going to record myself drawing him, but then I thought that it would make a better lesson instead. Well, that's it guys. I'm all done with this description on Link. It's now your turn to try out this tutorial. And remember, when you're done with your artwork, don't forget to upload it to the site. Who knows, maybe your drawing will make it to the Top 50 too! Peace out guys, and happy drawing!
