Start by drawing a circle for the head, and then add the lining for the mouth opening. You will then draw the arched body lines like you see here.

2

Thicken the lining for the mouth opening and then draw the top of the tribal animals nose. There should also be a few notches to the snout, as well as the one eye.

You will now start drawing out the shape and tribal style of the head. As you can see it's made up of a spaced pattern. Once that is done you can then add some detailing lines to the snout, and then a nostril hole.

4

The first thing you want to do now is draw out the teeth. Instead of attaching each tooth to the upper part of the mouth, or gum line, draw them in a way to make them appear to be floating. Once the mouth is drawn out, you can then start drawing the

This will be your last drawing step. All you need to do is draw the three remaining pieces of the tribal design ends. These are very sharp or razor like looking. Erase the guidelines you drew in step one to clean up your act.

Look how nice this tribal design came out looking. You can color it in to look big and bold.

Description: Tribal art is making a big path down pop cultures speeding highway. Ever since the tribal art phenomenon broke out in the world, there has been so many different tattoo designs that's been created over the course of time. I haven't even made a dent in what types of art is out in circulation today. That is why I like to try and draw different tribal designs that are not only cool, and exciting, but unique as well. At first I was going to name this pattern as a tribal dinosaur, but then I choose to label it just a plain old lesson on "how to draw tribal,". This is going to be one of the easiest tribal lessons I have on Dragoart, which means it should be popular amongst fellow artists alike. If you look at the head of the beast, you will notice that it looks a lot like a Chinese dragon. To tell you the truth, I didn't anticipate for the art to come out looking like that at all. I guess you could say I'm glad the pattern was a mess-up, because if it wasn't, I wouldn't have ended up with such an epic tribal deign like the one you see before you now. This would actually make a nice tribal band tattoo since there is no real body form attached to the head. Instead, there is a nice line stream flowing through, which makes it an awesome addition to any tribal art portfolio. Have fun with this lesson on "how to draw tribal". When you're done with the sketch, you can bring it to your local tattoo parlor and get an ink job on an awesome tribal band for your arm, leg, or ankle. Peace out people, and have a happy drawing day.
