How to Draw Robot Gir
Here is a long awaited lesson that I have received countless requests for. Everyone loves Invader Zim right? Well, I know I have both Zim, and Gir for lessons, but what I do not have a tutorial on “how to draw Robot Gir", step by step. If you are a fan of the show, you already know that Gir is a messed up version of the Irken SIR. The SIR is short for “Standard Information Retrieval”. In all reality, each invader gets a fully operational SIR units. But because they felt that Zim would never do anything right, they gave him a SIR unit that was constructed from junk parts found in the trash can. This unit is Gir, and as you know he is totally crazy. He loves toys, food, pigs, and of course T.V. This lesson is going to show you "how to draw Gir in his robot form". I know you guys will love this tutorial, because I had an awesome time drawing him out. Robot Gir is one of the cutest characters that has been created over time. When you want to draw Gir, all you have to do is stop here, and go to town. I will be back, and I will bring some more lessons with me. Stay tuned in to see what I upload next!

STEP 1.
All you have to do is draw a big cup like shape for robot Gir's head. Next draw a horizontal line going across the lower half of Gir's face like you see here. Next, draw the body wire frame and move to step two.
STEP 2.
All you have to do here is thicken the lining for his head, and in the process, draw an antenna on the top of his head. Next, draw the two messed up eyes like you see here with the one on the right bulging out.
STEP 3.
It's time to draw in robot Gir's small torso of a body. As you can see here, the torso is as big as the guideline you drew in step one. Draw the access compartment.
STEP 4.
Now draw his small round shoulder, and then draw out his robotic looking arm and hand. Add the lines to make the arm look mechanical. Next and lastly, all you have to do is draw robot Gir's dis attached legs which look like little pointed cones. Erase the very little guidelines and shapes you drew in step one to clean up your drawing.
STEP 5.
This is what your character looks like when you are completely done. You can color him in, and you are done. I hope you liked this tutorial on "how to draw robot Gir", step by step.Post a comment
