The very concept of drawing an angel is something that many people, and artists draw at some point in their lives. An angel is a very symbolical being that hold many different beliefs, from many different cultures. For instance, many individuals believe in guardian angels, evil angels, fallen angels, and cherubs, which are child like angels. This tutorial is going to show you "how to draw a simple angel" using very easy to follow steps, and instructions. I know I have many lessons on a bunch of angels, but there is none that shows you an easy way to draw an angel. I think you will like this tutorial. I mean, if you have always liked these beautiful beings, but never knew how to draw them, this is your chance to teach yourself how to do just that. I will be back in a few with two more lessons for you all to learn from and enjoy, and maybe in the future I will submit a lesson on simple angel wings. Peace out people!

STEP 1.
Start with a circle for the head, and then add the facial guidelines. You will then draw the one body frame line like you see here.
STEP 2.
The first thing you want to do is draw the lower part of the face which is the jaw line and chin. Next, sketch out the outline of the simple angel's hair like so.
STEP 3.
Draw in the bangs, and then draw the eyes which are closed shut. The eyes should be drawn in using the facial guidelines you drew in step one. Once that is done add the hint of her ears, and then draw the shoulders and arms of her angelic cloak.
STEP 4.
Next, draw two dots for her nose, and then draw out her lips. When the simple angels face is drawn out, she should come out looking peaceful. Now you will draw the angel hands, and then her small simple wings. Add some feather detailing as you see here.
STEP 5.
Let's finish off this angel by drawing out the bottom half of her gown like so, and then draw a simple oval shape above her head for the halo. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one to clean up your new drawing.
STEP 6.
Here is how she looks when you are all done drawing a simple angel. You can make this she into a he just by drawing short hair.Post a comment
