How To Draw A Gothic Girl

Welcome to DragoArt again. This time we are going to draw a Gothic girl. What’s a Goth? Good question, when everyone sees a Goth for the first time they always wonder ‘wow so much black and chains.’ That’s because Gothic fashion consists of baggy black chained paints, black band tees, females usually wear long black dresses or corsets, large knee high leather boots, fishnet arm attachments, and large hair extensions. A typical female Goth hairstyle is long, black with bangs. And a male Goth hairstyle is a colored Mohawk, spiked long hair, long black hair, or long blonde hair. Everyone stereotypes a Goth as being obsessed with vampires or claiming that they are one. Also Goths are stereotyped at participating in Satanic or Pagan rituals. They say that a Goth would drink blood of a human and sacrifice themselves to Satan. It’s also said that Goths are depressed and evil beings. That they hate humanity and that they have similar feelings like that of an Emo child. This for a fact is not true. All Goths are not depressed and participate in satanic rituals. In fact Goths can be happy, nice, intelligent, and organized beings. They could be like a normal human and just adore black fetish. Everyone is their own person. The same goes for Emo people. What’s the difference between a Goth and Emo? It’s a short for emotional. That means that emo people are very emotional. Also there’s a difference between a Goth’s styles. The typical wardrobe of this depressing group are tight black pants or jeans, skin tight shirts, large tongued skater shoes or Converses, studded belts and bracelets, and an interesting hair style. A typical emo hairstyle consists of long pieces of hair covering half their faces. The hair can be spiked, bleached, dyed, or really short and spiked. How to know a Goth is a poser? What is a poser? A poser is someone who tries to be something they’re not. For instance, a poser Goth is someone who wears the clothes of a Goth but loves preppy activities. This means that they are not dedicated to the subculture and just wear the clothing to fit in. They also constantly claim that they are Goth and prevail doing their activities. Anyways I drew this girl freehandedly on my Wacom intuos3 tablet. I used the tablet with Photoshop CS. I got the grunge idea from my previous tutorial, how to draw a Gothic cross.
