How to Draw SpongeBob and Patrick
What Nickelodeon characters are full of energy, are very naive and friendly, love having fun, and has a passion for jelly fishing? If you said Patrick and SpongeBob you are absolutely right. This lesson is another installment of the duo theme that I will be drawing for the rest of the week. If there a pair of characters you would like to see as a lesson, don't hesitate to drop a request, or ask me when I'm drawing live. Learning “how to draw SpongeBob and Patrick”, step by step is going to be so much fun. Since they are the best of friends, I drew them standing side by side with big smiles on their faces. Even though it's rare to see SpongeBob Squarepants with a frown, it's always nice to see his two bit white teeth glow as he smiles. To me Patrick is the dumb, but fun loving character, and even though his yellow friend seems naive, he often displays hints of being somewhat smart. This pair of childlike characters also love visiting their other good friend Sandy Cheeks. Together the duo turns into a trio and they will all have a good time as they explore and play around Bikini Bottom. This lesson is going to be extremely fun, and I know for a fact that when you “draw SpongeBob and Patrick”, you will have a smile arise from ear to ear. I shall return with more fun, so stay tuned in.

STEP 1.
You will first draw the shapes and wire frame starting with Patrick's round belly shape, and SpongeBob's square body shape. Next, draw the guidelines for the top of Patrick's head, and then draw the lines for his arms, and then draw Spongebob's legs.
STEP 2.
All you have to do here is draw Spongebob's eyes using the facial guidelines you drew in step one. Once the round eyes are drawn, add a few lashes, and his small nose.
STEP 3.
Now draw the pupils, and then draw his great big smile including the two front teeth and tongue.
STEP 4.
Sketch out the squiggly lining for his square body, and then draw the holes, and and the straight lining of his pants. Don't forget the freckles, and then chin detailing.
STEP 5.
Draw the shirt collar, and then draw his cute little tie. Once that is done, you can draw the dash marks on his pants which is supposed to be a belt. Draw the cuffs for his shorts, and then draw his arm, hand, legs, socks, and shoes.
STEP 6.
Now it's time to start drawing out Patrick's body, which is very starry and cone like.
STEP 7.
All you have to do here is draw his eyes, eyebrows, bellybuttons, and then draw out his shorts. Add the legs and the sea flowers that decorates his pants. To finish him off add the pupils, and smile. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 8.
In this step, you'll finish off the pupils and smile for Patrick. Once you've finished all of this, move onto the line art.
STEP 9.
Now that you are done, your sketch of Spongebob and Patrick is now finished. Have fun coloring them in.Comments: Post Comment
