Hello everyone, I'm back today with an exciting tutorial that is going to teach you how to draw tears, step by step. Yes, I know what your thinking, “tears”? My response to that is simple, why not? Tears is something that our bodies produce naturally when we get emotional. Some people cry when they are sad, mad, scared, happy, or when they are in pain. What is a tear though? Well, tears are made by our tear glands. These glands are located inside of our upper lids. Tears in general keep the eye lubricated, and they also help protect our eyes from damage and debris. Did you know that your eyes produce tears every time you blink? It's true, the eyelid spreads tears all over the surface of the eye. When you blink, that is your body telling you that it is time to lubricate the eye, because the eyeball has been exposed to air too long. Did you ever notice that whenever you cry you get a runny nose too? The reason for this is simple. Look in a mirror, and look at the bottom lid of your eye, you will see a small pin like dot. This dot is actually a tube that carries tears to the back of your nose, which then leads to a runny snotty nose. Crying is not the only thing that makes your eyes water. In the spring, some people may suffer from allergies which will lead to sniffing, sneezing, and tearing. Anyway, this is going to be a simple lesson that will teach you "how to draw tears", step by step. I had a lot of fun drawing out the many different types of tears that we are all familiar with. Have fun with this tutorial, and be sure to use your newly learned skill. I will be back soon with more drawing fun.

How to Draw Tears

how to draw tears
how to draw tears step 1

STEP 1.

This is not a drawing step, it's just a sketch of all the different types of tears that we come by. You have the classic perfect tear drop, a tear trickle, a dropping tear, and then a crying eye. You will learn how to draw all four types of tears.

how to draw tears step 2

STEP 2.

Start with a few shapes, a large circle for the perfect tear, and then a smaller round shape for the smaller tear, and then an oval shape for the eye. When these shapes are drawn you can then draw the lines that are connected to them like so.

STEP 3.

You will now draw out the shape of the perfect tear, and the dropping tear. Start from the top of the vertical line, and draw the shape to form the tear.

STEP 4.

Next sketch out the shape and form of the tear trickle, along with the two smaller tear drops. Next, draw the liquid like tear falling from the eye.

STEP 5.

Now lastly, sketch out the shape of the eye and then draw the thick lining for the top lid. Next detail the eye, and then add some detailing the other tears. Erase all the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and then that's it.

STEP 6.

Here is how your tears look when you are totally done drawing them out including the nice eye. I hope you had fun, and remember to use what you lust learned in a future sketch or drawing.

The Unknown From the paining ashes of the past. I never thought i would last in a world that isi meant to be dark. Where joy and happiness seem to be lost. A world that is a nightmare. A nightmare that is impossiable to wake up from. Controlled by a master with no face, in a world unknown. I learn to gain my voice to tell the unknown
