Trees produce much more than beauty and oxygen for all humans to enjoy, and live in. They also produce paper, wood, furniture, and even some types of rope. This lesson is going to show you "how to draw wood", step by step. Wood first comes in the form of trees, and then when those trees are cut done or harvested, they are taken to a production plant, or various lumber yards where they will be trimmed, and turned into different types of board for companies and the general public to buy. What else is wood used for? Well, how about to keep warm and for cooking. Back when everything was being lit by candles, wood was the main source for heat, and for cooking. There is two different types of wood, hard wood and soft wood. A dense hard wood that is perfect for making furniture would be something like mahogany, and light or soft wood is good for wood models. Want another example of hard and soft wood? How about this, wood from pine trees is classified as being soft wood, and a hard wood would be from something like oak. After all is said and done, the main purpose for this material is for house building, heating, flooring, and for stationary like pencils, and paper. I myself think wood floors are gorgeous, and when I do eventually move on my own, that is the first thing I will remodel, the flooring. I can't express enough how important house flooring is to me. I like floors that are easy to clean, and maintain, but also collect little dust and debris. This lesson is filled with awesome descriptions, and tips on various woods. I think you will have fun learning "how to draw wood", even if this lesson seems like a strange one. I will be back again, and remember, try out your newly learned techniques, and see what you can create. Peace out people, and have a happy drawing day.
