How to Draw Digimon
Pokemon is not the only kids series that a lot of people enjoy. There is another show that I used to be crazy about, and it was much like Pokemon. I thought it would be cool to draw a lesson that taught you guys "how to draw Digimon", step by step. Digimon was, at one point, a very popular series that aired on Fox Kids when the first season came out. It is a story of children that train themselves to be tamers of these digital monsters that are found inside of eggs, or better known as “Digi-Eggs”. These eggs are usually found by the chosen children who are also known as the DigiDestined. The first series starts off with a group of kids at camp. These digital monsters are from Digital World which is nothing more than a manifestation of the humans communication network. Digimon evolve into bigger, stronger monsters when they need to, whether it's to defend their owners, or to defend the world. I drew one of the first Digimon that was my favorite when I started to watch the series when I was a young girl, his name is Gabumon. He digivolves into Garurumon, WereGarurumon, and MetalGarurumon. If you where once into the series, than you will enjoy this tutorial that shows you "how to draw Digimon", step by step. And don't forget, not only will you draw a digital monster, that monster is Gabumon. I have one more lesson to upload before I get the others prepared for the day. STEP 1.
Are you ready to get busy and draw Gabumon? Good, let's get started. First draw a circle for his head, and then draw out the shape of the body, and long ape like arms. Lastly, add the guidelines for the face.
STEP 2.
Now start drawing out the shapes for the eyes, nose, and mouth line. The ends of the eyes flare out like flames. Color in the nose, and then move to the next step.
STEP 3.
Gabumon is a very unique looking Dgimon because when he digivolves, his face looks like there is a mask hanging over the real face. You will now begin sketching out the actual shape of his head, and then draw in the pushed back ears that are very pointed. There really isn't too many sharp edges to this Digimon's design, which makes him pretty easy to draw. Once the ears are drawn, you can then draw the horn that is piercing out from his forehead, and then add some eyeballs, and colored pupils. Draw two tiger like stripes on his top jaw, and then move to the next step.
STEP 4.
Now you can sketch out the big gorilla like arm shapes, and at the ends they sort of look like wooden mallets. Draw the claws at the tips, and then draw the belly. Once that is complete you can sketch in the tiger stripes on the arms like you see here.
STEP 5.
For your last step all you have to do is draw four sharp looking teeth on each side of the mouth, and then draw the back legs, and stomach design on this Digimon's belly. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one, and you are now done.
STEP 6.
This is how your drawing looks when you are done. Get out your markers, crayons, paint, or colored pencils to start shading in your character that you just drew. Wasn't drawing a Digimon fun?Comments: Post Comment
