How to Draw Majoras Mask
The Legend of Zelda has got to be one of Nintendo's biggest selling game series titles. Like always I love drawing different types of characters from the Zelda series. Today I am going to fill another request and show you guys “how to draw Majora's Mask", step by step. The mask that is used in the game is called exactly what the title says. It is the sixth game in the Zelda saga, and it is also one of the best pieces. Link picks up after the episode of Ocarina of Time and the game play is almost exactly the same. There is dungeons with puzzles, and even ocarina songs. As always Link's main weapon in the game is his sword and shield, but he can also use a sling shot, and other various weapons of choice. He has the ability to throw Deku Nuts, and even his trusty bow and arrow. The game takes place in Termina which is alternate to Hyrule. The game starts with Link riding Epona as he is in search for an unnamed friend. Out of the blue a masked skull kid and his fairy buddies named Tatl and Tael steal Epona, and the Ocarina of Time and take off into a dark cave. He eventually gets help from one of the fairy kids, and meets up with a guy that goes by the name of 'Happy Mask Salesman'. He helps Link turn back into normal and after he does he finds out that Majora's Mask has an evil power inside that was used by an acient tribe that performed hexing spells. Now because these ancient ones feared the mask, they sealed the mask in shadow forever. The tribe disappears, and the whereabouts of the Majora's Mask is gone. I mean, the story and game is really good, and as you know there is too much to talk about when it comes to a Zelda game. All I can do for you is show you guys “how to draw Majora's Mask", step by step. It's a pretty easy tutorial, and I think you will like the outcome of your drawing. STEP 1.
The first thing you will do is draw a simple heart shape like you see here. On each lower side you will draw four spiked lines and two horn lines. Inside of the heart draw the facial guidelines.
STEP 2.
You will now sketch out the lining that forms the eye shapes, and then the swirl like cheek lines like you see here. The lines under the eyes should be double.
STEP 3.
Totally sketch out the shape of the cat looking eyes, and then draw in the eyeballs, and pupils. Draw a neat little design between the eyes as you see here and then draw two nose holes, and another inline between the two cheek shapes.
STEP 4.
Draw the pointed shape of the horns and then add some neat looking triangle designs above the brow. You are trying to capture a tribal looking face within the mask. Add some dots above and below, and move to the next step.
STEP 5.
For your last drawing step all you have to do is draw out the spiked horns on each side of the heart shaped mask. There is four horns on each side. Erase the lines and shapes that you drew in step one.
STEP 6.
You are 100% done. All you have to do is grab your colorful crayons, markers, or colored pencils, and go to town on coloring this popular object from The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask.Comments: Post Comment
