Start by drawing a shape that looks like a piece of thinly sliced mouse cheese. Once that is done you can draw one of the tire shapes on the right side, and the fin in the back of the car as you see here.

You will now start sketching out the formula one cars shape and design as you see here. Start with the hump which is also where the camera mount and engine intake is located. You will then sketch out the back of the drivers seat design, and then the

You can now start sketching out the shape of the hood which has a small arch to it at the front. When that is done draw out the flat square design for the wing. There is trimming and detailing to this construction as you can see. When this is finishe

Draw the front wheel in more detail as you see here and then color in the inside of the wheel rim or drum. Next sketch out the arched back shape where the rear wheel will be located, and then completely draw out the rear wing the way you see it drawn

You are already on your last drawing step. All you need to do now is finish sketching out the frame of the car which hugs or sits low to the ground, and then draw both the front and back wheels. The rear tire is detailed with threads, and the front w

When you are done your car should look like the one you see here. Color it in and that's it, you just learned how to draw a F1 car step, by step. Good job, and I'll see you soon.

Description: Here is the first tutorial request fulfilment for the day. Yesterday I was literally flooded with requests from the new request option that is now available. So, today I'm going to show you "how to draw a formula one" race car, step by step. At first I wasn't sure what the heck a formula 1 car was. So, I had to go and do a little research to find out what I was dealing with. This is what I found out. An F1 car is basically an open concept race car that seats one person, which is the driver, and sits really low to the ground. The engine of the car is located behind the driver which is why there is plenty of bulk in the rear, and the there is also front and rear wings. I'm not too sure what the wings are, but if I understand correctly they are the aerodynamic elements that provide these unique race cars with maximum downforce, and a small or little amount of drag. There is also something called “ground effect aerodynamics" as well. Each car is made from a material called “carbon fibre”. Yes, other material that is similar to that of carbon fibre is used as well, but the main substance is as listed. Like with other race cars there is also a weight limit that each F1 can have. In this case the limit is one thousand three hundred thirty four pounds. Now this includes the driver, engine fluids and gas, and of course a camera to record the car in action. Aside from the vehicle itself being super cool looking, one of the other important objects to this car is the steering wheel. Everything that needs to be done is right there at the drivers disposal. There is knobs, buttons, and dials and some even have a small LCD screen. The engines are pretty sweet too, most of the cars are built with a 2.4 litre V-8 engine. The cars RPMs has an eighteen thousand limit capacity due to new regulations that pasted in the 2009 season. I tried to do my best with the cars design, and I think I did an okay job. This tutorial will show you "how to draw a F1", step by step. The formula one car that you are drawing is officially my first type of race car of this concept I ever drew. So have fun with this tutorial, and hopefully you learn something new with it. Tomorrow is Easter so I wish you all have a great one. Oh yeah, you can now embed videos from Youtube or other video sites of your favorite tutorials now so check out that feature today as well. Peace out peeps and have fun.
