How to Draw a Tribal Scorpion
Tribal animal drawings are a great way to express yourself through art. Over the past few months I have drawn and submitted quite a few designs on tribal art. Some of them I am proud of, and some of them need to be redrawn or tweaked, so that the lining and shaping is more fluent, and unified. This tutorial that I am about to submit is of course going to be on another tribal design. There are some animals in existence I find absolutely amazing, and then there are others that are just blah to me. Having said that, I wanted to sketch out a design that was on one of those animal species. Today you will be taught "how to draw a tribal scorpion, the fun and easy way. You have to admit, scorpions are pretty cool. Their whole creation and design is just structurally amazing. This tribal design has more rounded corners and edges then anything else. I could have drawn a more sharper image, but since I wanted everyone to tackle this lesson, I felt that drawing rounded shapes that are unified together, would be easier for you guys to learn from. For those of you that can ace tribal art, this should be a snap for you take on. Anyway, I did have fun drawing this scorpion design, and unlike other tribal patterns I have drawn in the past, I think this one came out looking pretty cool. Enough with my blabbering already, let me get you thriving artists out there to work on this tutorial so you can draw your own tribal scorpion too. Adios amigos, and happy drawing!

STEP 1.
Okay just by looking at this first step you already know that it's going to be pretty easy right? All you have to do is draw two rounded lines that sort of looks like the end of a bone.
STEP 2.
Start from the top, begin sketching out the one whole piece that will make up the tribal scorpion's tail. You can see that there are notches along the inside of the scorpions tail, and an opening in the front near the body.
STEP 3.
You will now draw out the tribal version of the scorpions legs. There should be three legs on each side. Once that is done you can move to the next step.
STEP 4.
For your last drawing step you will just need to draw out the claws, and then the tail tip as you see here. Once you are done doing that, you can begin erasing all the guidelines that you drew in step one. Now lets do a recap. It only took three steps to complete this drawing on a tribal scorpion. How much easier does it get then that?
STEP 5.
In the end your drawing should look like the one you see here. Looks cool right? Great job, and now you can take your finished drawing to your favorite tattoo parlor for an awesome inking job.Comments: Post Comment
