I'm sure you guys already know that Shrek Forever After is coming out this year right? It's the fourth and final chapter to the Shrek saga. Because of that I want to be prepared by having some of the more popular characters from the very funny, colorful movie. I loved both one, two, and the third, so waiting for four which is the final chapter is making me very figity every once in a while whenever I get a glimpse of the trailer. Now, since I have Shrek, Donkey, and Puss, I thought it was only right to give you guys a tutorial on “how to draw Fiona”, step by step”. Princess Fiona is voiced by the very funny and talented Cameron Diaz. Fiona is one of my favorite characters, but she is not as strong as Shrek, Donkey, and Puss in Boots. Antonio Banderas does an awesome job as a voice actor for the small, dangerous feline, as does Eddie Murphy as Donkey. Mike Myers has been a favorite comedian of mine since Waynes World, and even today when I watch his old movies I still get a good laugh. Anyways, lets get back to Fiona shall we? At the end of "Shrek the Third", Fiona and her hubby had their family which consisted of a set of ogre triplets that is in the combination of two boys and one girl. In "Shrek Forever After", it takes picks up where Third left off only this time the big ogre is a family man now. A lot has happened since the episode in Far Far Away, instead of Fiona and Shrek having to worry about being hunted, they are signing pitch forks. In the new movie comes new fairy tale characters like Rumpelstiltskin who inevitably makes a deal with Shrek and turns his life upside down. Fiona is no longer his wife, Donkey has no clue who he is, and Puss in Boots as an incredibly fat cat. Either way you look at it the final chapter will be a big hit because all the rest where, and because the story lines are well written. I have to modify this version of Fiona, so when drawing her please note that I know what needs to be fixed (eye color, nose, etc). Look for the updated version later today. In the mean time, have fun drawing Princess Fiona, step by step. Peace peeps, and keep those pencils moving.
